I just received "Great Old Ones" in the mail yesterday. Very entertaining.
An actual CD case...fancy. Interesting photo enclosed with it. If I bump into
Tawil at'Umr I'll have to have him autograph it. I assume that's who the
figure in the all-concealing cloth veil was.

Hey Whoren,
I didn't get any photo of Tawil at'Umr with my Great Old Ones. You
little bitch. Assume the position.

When I received my copy of Great Old Ones in the mail, it also included
People of Innsmouth #28, a TDotHT sticker, and a photo of a figure covered
head-to-toe in an aquamarine cloth. I figured it was either Yog-Sothoth's
Tawil at'Umr avatar or a really cheap shoggoth costume. I went for the
former.

You got a picture with yours?! Lucky bastard.

Hell, that's nothing! When my package with my copy of Great Old Ones arrived
it contained:

1) Five issues of POI (#23-28)
2) Said picture of Tawil at'Umr
3) A Mythos-style card of the band
4) A TDotHT bumper sticker
5) A page of alien head stickers
6) a house key
7) the wrapper from a Snicker's bar
8) My reciept
9) Someone else's reciept for a Snicker's bar, a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi &
Prego Tomato sauce
10) a coupon for Whisker Lickins cat treats
11) a spare jewel case for the CD
12) The Outsider catalog from Pagan Publishing.
13) the ripped off front cover of Brian Lumley's _Hero of Dreams_ paperback

The fact that there were THIRTEEN items made me think it was an intentional
joke on the part of the band. However, I'm getting the feeling that not
everyone got the same things.
I guess I got the star treatment because I sent in $50 and told them to keep
the change.

Sure, I'll take it. Maybe I can trade it to that short guy with the funny name
for some gold...

To everyone that didn't get AT LEAST this much stuff, light the torches

I helped Toren with some things, and I got an issue of TPoI, a TDOTH
sticker, some nifty information on joining the fanclub and an original
drawing by Toren! Signed and everything. It's framed.

Maybe I should offer my usenet finding services. Hey Toren, I specialize in
finding hard to find items for sale on usenet at dirt cheap prices. You ever
looking for something and having trouble drop me a line.

Sure, I'm always into pimping my art. I think I have a few napkins with
Picasso's signature on it lying around too. I am, actually, looking for a
couple of comics.

Funny, when I sent away for my Great Old Ones, all I got was a box of 2000
CD's and 2000 cover to put them in. Then again I did send to a CD
manufacturing plant in Quebec. Hmmm...
