Living Legacy: A Tribute to the Music of Dan Fogelberg

New to the group, and wanted you to know about a special tribute show
coming up next week in Dallas Texas. I've been a fan for over 30 years
now, and a player of Dan's songs for about that long. It's going to be
quite a thrill to be involved in this show, and if you know any fans
in the Dallas area, please pass the word along.

LIVING LEGACY: A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF DAN FOGELBERG
Over 20 musicians have been rehearsing for several months for this
show, and will take the stage in a Tribute Concert to Dan Fogelberg,
called "Living Legacy." The show will take place March 31 at 7 pm at
the Spring Valley United Methodist Church:

Dallas, TX
Award winning songwriter, Eric Folkerth, will be one of four lead
vocalists, singing Dan's songs. The band also features Cornell
Kinderknacht (a woodwinds player nominated for "Musician of the Year"
by TexasMusic.com). The four lead singers will be accompanied by a
full band, and a small string and brass section....recreating the
sound of many of Fogelberg's songs as closely as possible. (A full set
list is included below...)
Coffee and desserts will be served, and there is no charge for the
show. However, a love offering will be taken up for the United
Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) an agency like the Red Cross
that is a first responder to natural disasters such as Hurricane
Katrina and Darfur. UMCOR brings food, clothing, and potable water
into difficult disaster, war and famine situations.
