The boy really must be ignorant. He didn't even crosspost to the group ABOUT
new Country, just to the group about OLD Country. So both the question and
any answers are off topic.

I've got a question, myself. Looking at the track listing for Hank Snow's
1967/68 album HITS, HITS, AND MORE HITS, while most are easy to identify ("A
Wound Time Can't Erase", "There Goes My Everything", "All The Time", etc.),
there's a couple that I've not heard of.

Who had the hit version of "He Dropped The World In My Hands" and "Once More
You're Mine Again"? I didn't find that either one had every made Billboard's
Country singles chart.

I don't know if it was a hit but Hank said he got "That's When He Dropped
The World In My Hands" from a Nashville cab driver so I guess he recorded it
first. My favorite off that LP is "All Nite Cafe" the Warner Mack song that I
didn't get to hear at the time it came out.I finally heard it about 25 years
after I got the Hank Snow LP but I still like Hank's version best. Tommy

Larry, you are right about the "New Country Artist" question and any answers
being off topic. Thanks for turning an off topic question into something on
topic. I know you already knew about the ERIC Records Pop & Country CD
already from Bill Buster himself right on BSN so the ad I cross-posted is
directed to people on here and on the new country music newgroup regulars
who like the older country music who may be interested in it.

Well, Bradley, I don't think I handled it too well. I insulted Kevin and he
was earnest in his question. I emailed that he might do better at
alt.music.country, but he can't find that newsgroup. I don't know how to
help him find it, since it all depends on his newsreader and what newsgroups
his ISP carries. Still it's hard to imagine that he can find this one but
not the other one.
