Then we've got the bizarre Hazel Smith, who somehow, even in the new millenium,
has managed to maintain a major presence in Country Music magazine, despite the
fact that she's nothing but a condescending female femi-nazi pig.
Add to that, the Busgal connection, which when viewed is actually eerie. :)
Factor in the Something Smith/Barbara Sherrill psuedo, the illigitimate "Erik",
the failed "Smith Brothers" efforts, the Linda "I'm old, fat and a Smith"
mantra, the constant references to old disc jockeys, on an ng, that has nothing
to do with them, and pardon me for noticing, but I'm beginning to see a
pattern. :)
The only other question is, are the Mack/Smith's related to the Van Dykes, the
Ryles, the Paychecks, or even the McCall's ? :)

My 'Funk & Wagnals of Country Music' has Warner Mack listed as writing
'Drinking Champagne', in Cal Smith's Bio, but does not have that song
listed under Waner's Bio. There is no Bio for Bill Mack, and I find
that hard to believe that he would have been overlooked. I'm sure that
must be a mistake.
And for the person having a problem with the 'Smith's'... Cal Smith was
born Calvin Grant Shofner.
