Saw the Crows for the first time since 1997 tonight. Show was short,
but sweet. No songs from Hard Candy, which was disappointing. They
sounded great however, and I am looking forward to them coming back
this way. Augustana was the opener, and they spent much of the Crows
show on stage as well. They are not a bad little band at all. Here
is the set list:

Caravan (Van Morrison)
We Will Come Around
Daylight Fading
Recovering the Satellites
Washington Square
Ghost Train
Los Angeles
You Can't Count on Me
??? (Duritz, solo piano) leading into Long December
Mr. Jones
Hanginaround
Cecelia (Paul Simon)
Rain King
Walkaways

Adam's stage patter was awesome, and I expected to hear the word
"Obama" more than once, given his likely political leanings, however,
while he did make a speech about voting (complete with historical
references) it was absolutely non partisan. Classy guy.

Correction, Ghost Train should be Anna Begins. I am deeply ashamed to
have written down the wrong song, given that I've listened to AAEA in
its entirety over 4 million times, give or take a few, but there were
people fighting two rows in front of me at the time.

That's a great set list. As you say short but sweet. I hope to catch them in
the UK in December. I presume it will be the full show in the UK.
