I have a Selmer clarinet which has a metal joint between the upper and
lower sections along with an extra key. I've looked and don't know which
model this is. Can anyone help?

It could be something like the Centred Tone, but they usually have that
written on them. Maybe the earlier model which was the Balanced Tone IIRC.

Tom,

You said you have a clarinet with a metal joint between the upper and
lower sections along with an extra key. In all probability you have
a
clarinet with an articulated C#/Db. Very handy for trilling and fast
passages. On my horn, Arobert, just the bottom joint is metal. This
makes the top wooden male joint very fragile since the tone hole
passes
through it.

On mine the hole passes through the joint, but both parts are metal.
