Concert: Les Savy Fav

July 12, 8 PM
Nasher Museum of Art

Celebrate the last days of the much-acclaimed retrospective 'Barkley
L. Hendricks: Birth of the Cool' with a musical performance at the
Nasher Museum. The Brooklyn-based art-rock band Les Savy Fav
will bring their madcap theatrics and artistic
improvisation to the museum for a special night. The former Rhode
Island School of Design graduates are known as one of the best live
shows in the business and their 2007 album 'Let's Stay Friends,'
earned a four-star nod from 'Rolling Stone' magazine. Les Savy Fav is
Tim Harrington (vocals), Seth Jabour (guitar), Syd Butler (bass) and
Durham's own Harrison Haynes (drums).

The event is co-sponsored by Duke Performances and made possible by a
grant from the Duke-Semans Fine Art Foundation. Tickets are $10 ($5
for Duke employees, free for Duke students). For tickets go to Duke
University Box Office at 919-684-4444 or tickets.duke.edu.
