Excuse me!!
Would you stop for a moment?!
O...man...Haven't you thought-one day- about yourself ?
Who has made it?
Have you seen a design which hasn't a designer ?!
Have you seen a wonderful, delicate work without a worker ?!
It's you and the whole universe!..
Who has made them all ?!!
You know who ?.. It's "ALLAH",prise be to him.
Just think for a moment.
How are you going to be after death ?!
Can you believe that this exact system of the universe and all of
these great creation will end in in nothing...just after death!
Have you thought, for a second, How to save your soul from Allah's
punishment?!
Haven't you thought about what is the right religion?!
Read ... and think deeply before you answer..
It is religion of Islam.
It is the religion that Mohammad-peace upon him- the last prophet, had
been sent by.
It is the religion that the right Bible- which is not distorted-has
preached.
Just have a look at The Bible of (Bernaba).
Don't be emstional.
Be rational and judge..
Just look..listen...compare..and then judge and say your word.

Thanks for explainingg (a bit), love Scotland, spend some great
hollidays over there but, as it seems, I have to work on the language...

'a pint of heavy' is what I'm told there to order, and that was very
good advice:)

All the best from Holland.

You know what's heavy? The Low G in a Donald MacLeod Crunluath.
That's what. But, he's got a light D Throw, as t should be. Master
of Piobaireachd and all. If he had played rock guitar instead of
bagpipe, he probably would've played a Rickenbacker 12 string.

Almost a "Byrdsy" reference. Haven't seen any Byrds posts for some time
though.

Too true. Usenet is all but abandoned these days. But, you live on
PEI, so I'll bet you know pipers, and you are interested in weather it
seems. I was an Aerographers Mate in the Navy, and play the pipes.
And we like The Byrds, so I'll bet we could find some stuff to talk
about.

Have you read either "So You Want To Be A Rock And Roll Star" or
"Hot Burrito"? Both great books. The former being a day-by-day
history of The Byrds, and the latter the story of The Flying Burrito
Brothers. It amazed me reading R&R Star, just how hard The Byrds were
working back in the day. Always recording, doing an appearance, or a
concert somewhere. And often under pretty primitive conditions
compared to how things are today. And not always with the success one
would imagine being associated with them. They had a lot of bad
performance nights by all accounts. Interesting though, to see the
evolution of the band over the years.

The Burrito book has a great deal of direct input from Chris Hillman,
and I think it debunks the Gram Parson myth a bit. It doesn't make
Gram out to be unimportant or anything like that, just not the world-
changing boy genius that he is often portrayed as. A shame about his
alcohol use, as I think it sometimes made him look like a clown, and
he obviously had a lot of talent, and certainly did help shape the
course that music took with acts like Jackson Browne, The Eagles,
Little Feat, and others.

Haven't read either book. Sound fascinating. I assume you've read
Timeless Flight.
I grew up listening to the Byrds from the beginning. Glad to say my 27
year old son appreciates them too. He's
a very talented musician living in Halifax.

Hot Burritos and SYWTBAR&RS are published by Jawbone Press, and are
available new and used on amazon.com. They are both paperback, but of
high quality printing and binding. So, lower cost, but still nice
books. John Einarson and Chris Hillman get author credits for
Burritos, and a guy named Christopher Hjort wrote the Byrds book.
Lots of great photos in both. Many I had nver seen. there are a few
typos and misspellings here and there, but overall well-researched and
well written.

Some think the Burritos book goes too far in the direction of
marginalizing Gram's talent, but I didn't think so. It still seemed
to me that he brought a lot to the table. But, the book does bring
him down to size, and portrays some pretty serious flaws. Having been
a guitar player in several bands myself, I know how sometimes egos can
get in the way of making good music, or of later remembering exactly
how things went down. So I take everything pretty much with a grain
of salt and try to find the middle ground in the story.

The Byrds book took me a long time to read, because it is literally a
day-by-day account of their entire career. It must've been a bear to
research, and to organize. Not at all boring.

What sort of music does your son play? I sang my first Byrds tune in
a garage band when I was about 11. 1967.

I was 17 when I sang My Back Pages and played drums in my garage band.
That was in 1966.
My son is very eclectic in his taste, but he appreciates musicianship
and good vocals. He likes a lot of the good
60's and 70's stuff. He's keen on Pink Floyd presently.
By the way, did you read Timeless Flight? I thought it was well researched.
