Back for a return engagement after selling out the house last March,
Woody Mann will appear at the Good Coffeehouse Music Parlor THIS
FRIDAY NIGHT, MARCH 9. AT 8 PM. Tickets are only $15 for a 2-hour
concert.
Woody Mann is an acclaimed blues and jazz guitarist and singer who
studied with blues legend Reverend Gary Davis and Lenny Satriano and
has played with the likes of Son House and Bukkah White. Among
guitarists and critics, Woody is considered a master of blues and
jazz. One critic writes, "While the blues are his touchstone, Mann
blurs the lines between jazz, blues, classical, and world music
creating his own sound in the process. Tickets: $15.
The Good Coffeehouse Music Parlor (GCMP), sponsored by the Brooklyn
Society for Ethical Culture, has been offering Friday night concerts
for 37 years. It is located in a cozy Arts & Crafts mansion facing
Prospect Park West. The listening room is acoustically superb and
there's not a bad seat in the house.
LOCATION: 53 Prospect Park West at 2nd Street in Park Slope, Brooklyn,
NY 11215.
