We appear to be in the rather lamentable position here of being in the
bare minority of people on this group (and the few others know who
they are) interested in singers - any singers . Did you ever think you
would live to see the day when your CS posts became things to look
forward to?

Now, if you would only expand your interests out a little further than
one singer.....

I have to agree with this as I am only interested in people who are
incapable of singing high notes, and who cannot be heard beyond the fifth
row of the stalls.

You're booked for two on the aisle for the Ian Bostridge/Dawn Upshaw
joint recital. A wonderful evening devoted to the a capella music of
Mompou.

Seems that the day of reckoning has arrived, at last.

Well, check out http://www.youtube.com/user/Scalatti . Now, what did
you think of the "Ah! Perfido"? Good? Bad? Why? Couldn't hear from
the 6th row? What? Or is a post that references CS disqualified for
intelligent discussion?

Excellent! With a bit of luck it'll have some diminished fifths and
Neapolitan sixths in it. A tierce de Picardie would be nice too, but I'm not
holding out any hopes.
