First, about Brian Molko being the sexiest man alive: Well, he's certainly at
or near the very top of the list! Other top candidates, in my eyes, are (in
no particular order):
the lead singer of Fuel (don't know his name)
- he played at Taste of DC (food and arts festival) this past fall. Wow!
David Gahan (woo-woo-woo! :)
- but he's a married man, so he doesn't really count!
the lead singer of Creed
Chino Moreno, the lead singer of the Deftones
Morrissey (who doesn't really count, because I don't think he's attracted to
women, but oh well)
Scott Weiland in his pre-heroin days
Dave Navarro
I don't remember any other top-guys-in-my-eyes right now... :)

Amen, sister!
A book review in "Uncut" magazine (concerning a book on glam rock) said it
best:
"What Glam was really about was the appeal of 'feminine' straight men to
teenyboppers, absent-father girls, females abused by male relations, and women
newly in revolt against the patriarchal hunk-stereotype."
(pg. 131, 11/98 issue)
Personally, I find the conventional poster-boy beefcake look boring. It's too
standardized, homogenized, blah.

Hey - good point! I take issue with that line of thought, too. I can see how
it's patronizing.
