Does anybody know any cds with Gregorian chants? I need to find some for
my fiancŽ. What I'm looking for would be similar in style to the ones used
on Sadeness by Enigma. Looking for the chants only, no drum or other
instruments. We need to sample them for a song that we're doing called
'Behind Enchantments Veil'. Thanks in advance.

Dammit, I've heard so many thought provoking quotes, but I can't remember
them.

you might obviously want to check out some of the dead can dance's cds. they
usually have at least one or two gregorian sounding acapella songs on each
disc. good luck.

I've got two...not sure where they came from though. One's on RCA Victor
(Swquentiae: Gregorian Chant/K. Ruhland [GD 71953]), the other on ProArte
(Gregorian Chants * Ruhland [CDD 287]). Got 'em as presents a while ago.
Oh, that first album should be Sequentiae. Can't type...<grin>

I believe a group of 4 women called "Anonymous 4" is getting pretty
popular for records of Gregorian and similar chants.

Probably not what you want to know but didn't SPK (Surgical Penis
Klinic??) have a track once many years ago - before they went all
soft <grin> which I'm sure I heard on a Peely session that was
called Gregorian Chant and had what I can only suppose (not
knowing exactly what such chants sound like) snatches of said
sounds. Maybe somebody can remember. Probably an industrial expert
will know if this is the case - must admit I got metal dance lying
around on a tape somewhere - that metal banging really hit me
sweetly.
