Subject: A DOS utility to set various text video modes
http://my.execpc.com/~geezer/code/setres.c
http://my.execpc.com/~geezer/code/setres.com

On my system, this utility lets me set the following text video modes:
  40x25 40x50  80x25  80x50 132x25 132x43
  40x30 40x60  80x30  80x60  90x25  90x30
  90x50 90x60 132x30 132x50 132x60

Only the first 6 modes are available from my BIOS; the other modes
are achieved by writing directly to the VGA registers. This program
examines the VGA compatability bits returned by the VBE BIOS calls
to determine if the video hardware is register-compatible with VGA.

I don't know if the FreeDOS people would be interested in this or
not, but if someone reading this is on the FreeDOS mailing list,
would you please let them know? Thanks.

This program replaces my old 90x30.asm and 90x60.asm utilities.
