*** Ashton-Tate made some great programs. "Framework" was one of the
first office suites back in the 1980s and 1990s, Unfortunately, from me,
I never used it, so I can't be of much help.
I did use their powerful dBASE III and still have the original box and
software for dBASE IV on a shelf right above me here at work.
All I can suggest is that you do an Internet search. Perhaps some forum
somewhere will come to light. Try "Google Groups" for a newsgroup search.
Does your client happen to have the manuals anywhere? Are there any
on-screen "Help" manuals?

This is the second request for Framework in a relatively short period.
Framework was a really great integrated office suite with an interface
that did much that was later found in Windows. I loved it.
Somebody bought the license from Symantec (iirc) after they acqired
Ashton and decided to let Framework die. Its still under developement at
<http://www.framework.com/>.
There's Framework III and IV downloadable (illegally, I guess) at
http://www.vetusware.com/ after registering. They of tons of other
interesting "abandonware" from the "good old" DOS days, too.
