I don't understand your question. Are you interested in doing something
like a screen shot of a portion of Timo's FAQ or are you looking at
Timo's icon/avatar via Google groups for this A.M.B.nt USENET group?

Andy,
My third guess is that you are referring to the thumbnail picture of
Timo that is included in his html version of the FAQ.

There is no html in Timo's post. The thumbnail/html you are referring to
is on his website. But once again we see another example of full quoting
with only a single line added (OT at that).
