Hi there,

I am looking for a film which I saw back in the early to mid-1980's.
The plot revolves around a time in the future when law and order have
broken down in society. As a result, the government (I believe the
film takes place in the USA) forces all teenagers to be put inside of
detention camps for the duration of their teen years. I believe the
film is about American teenagers inside of these detention camps who
try to break out and stage an uprising. I seem to recall that the
teenagers in the film were dressed in very 1980's fashion, with some
sporting Mohawk hairstyles. I saw this movie in both the USA and
Canada back in the 1980's.

Any suggestions?.

Cheers,
Pierre-André

It's not an American film but it sounds like you are referring to
DEAD-END DRIVE IN. An Australian film in which teenagers are kept at a
drive in.

No, I don't think that's it at all. I saw 120 Days, and wish I hadn't,
but it has no resemblance to this description.

I don't believe these students were in a detention camp, and I don't
recall any general breakdown of law and ofder. Also, they were fighting
a Soviet invasion, not staging an uprising against the government.
Still a good movie though, when I saw it.
