Bravo Joe! And congratulations on your upcoming blessed event! It was great
to find the FAQ. I had read about the Titanic, as a teen, mostly books written
by survivors, and became fascinated with the subject. When I heard about the
movie I was thrilled, but, having seen previous movies on Titanic, I was not
preparred for the fabulous, overwhelming epic, that JC created, it was amazing!

For our wedding anniversary, two years ago, we gave a Titanic party, and served
the dinner from the first class menu, on the last night. It took five hours!
It was one of those events, however, that had people talking, afterwards, for
months. We had a model of the ship, surrounded by flowers, as the centrepiece,
and a piece of salvaged coal, and a copy of the menu, at each place, so the
guests had really interesting souveniers, to take home. It is a very happy
memory, for us.

I have to be picky and correct some of your FAQ...BTW Richard helped me with
one eons ago you are welcome to use on your site as well... =)

The "Heart of the Ocean" had multiple copies. A lot were tossed into the ocean
by Gloria Stuart. Cameron is rumoured to have taken one home, as well as
Winslet.

There WERE living survivors involved. Cameron talked to a few, as well as
their families during production.

Don Lynch is Douglas Spedden's father Thomas. He says something to the boy --
FYI he was just "picked" for this scece. The casting director didn't know who
he was when he was picked. =)
