Moving Pictures in London

I hope those in London may be interested in a small touring exhibition
currently doing the rounds of some of the borough archives and libraries.
Moving Pictures is an exhibition on the film business in London before the
First World War, and comes from the same body of research that produced the
London Project database (http://londonfilm.bbk.ac.uk). Having begun in
Camden, Moving Pictures moves to Hornsey Library (1 September-10 November),
and then Hampstead Museum (17 November-mid-January 2007). The exhibition is
accompanied by lectures and screenings, including Ian Christie at Hornsey on
19 September, talking on filmmaking and filmgoing in north London before
1914, and then me at Hamspead on 1 December (no clear idea what I'll be
