whether it's a DVD, a book, a soundtrack, a one-sheet or an
autographed picture of Karl Puffy to put by your bedside, and you'll
be eligible for our drawing three weeks from today, Monday, December
7th.

And what could you win? Thanks to the generosity of our friends at
Flicker Alley we have three— THREE! A 50% increase over last year—
fabulous new releases which could be yours! (Sorry, due to rights

The prizes are...

1) CHICAGO— the acclaimed DVD of Cecil B. DeMille's racy, hardbitten
1927 version of the Maurine Watkins play which spawned the recent
Oscar winner (not to mention Roxie Hart with Ginger Rogers), a
gorgeous print with score by the Mont Alto Orchestra.

2) THE ITALIAN STRAW HAT-- Rene Clair's delightful adaptation of a
classic farce in which a wedding is disrupted by a chain of events
that all begin when a horse eats a hat.

3) CHAPLIN AT KEYSTONE-- an eyeopening retrospective of the films that
made Chaplin Chaplin, in new prints from all over the world, and with
scores by practically everybody.
