I know this is long after the fact, but maybe it will reach you. Are you asking because you have these titles? Because I would be very much interested in buying some of them.

Since some of these titles exists
as paper prints at the Library of
Congress, a direct conversion to
an HD digital format would be more
convenient for viewing with a 16mm
print for back-up as well as for ex-
hibition.

The clarity of paper prints can be
excellent because of the size of the
frame.

When I was at the Packard building last year I was given the impression that all of the paper prints were being transferred into HD video, albeit very slowly.

You would get a direct and educated response from Nitrateville.com. I'm also looking to see some obscure Griffith flicks -- of the same era as yours but not on your list -- and Nitrateville was extremely helpful with my research.
