the Monsters” and an old country lady in “Terror of Mechagodzilla”, is
born in Tokyo. She died in 1978 at 79.

1945: ASBJORN ANDERSEN, who played Professor Martens in “Reptilicus”,
marries Tove Ulla Hoffding Dyrhauge.

1949: RYO HAYAMI, who played Jin Keisuke a.k.a. “Kamen Rider X”,
reprising the character on “5 Kamen Riders vs. King Dark”, “Kamen
Rider Stronger”, “Kamen Rider: All Back Again! 7 Riders”, and “Sky
Rider”, is born in Chiba, Japan. He was also in “Gamera vs. Monster X”
and played Kazumichi Morishita in “G.I. Samurai”.

1966: Episode 20 of “The Space Giants”, “The Clash”, debuts on
Japanese TV.
        SATOMI KOOROGI, who played Myuu in “Voiceslugger”, is born in Chiba,
Japan.

1968: TOMOYUKI FURUMAYA, director on “MM9”, is born in Nagano, Japan.

1973: Episode 20 of “Super Robot: Red Baron”, “Reconstruct Red Baron”,
debuts on Japanese TV.
        SAYAKA OSAWA, who played Cosmos #2 in “Godzilla vs. Mothra: Battle
for the Earth” and “Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla”, a psychic
schoolteacher in “Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II” and Meru Ozawa in
“Godzilla vs. Destroyah”, is born in Tokyo.

1980: Episode 5 of “Kamen Rider Super-1”, “Fly Kazuya! The Devil’s
Motorcycle Race”, debuts on Japanese TV.

1981: Episode 40 of “Solar Squadron Sunvulcan”, “The Intimate
Assassinating Angel”, debuts on Japanese TV.

1986: KAYOKO MORIYASU, who was in “School of Ghosts 4”, is born in
Ibaraki, Japan.

1987: Episode 38 of “Aura Squadron Maskman”, “Time Dissipates for
Takeru”, debuts on Japanese TV.
        EVE GORDON, who played the school counselor in “The Grudge 2”,
marries Todd Waring.

1999: Episode 38 of “Rescue Squadron Go-Go V” debuts on Japanese TV.

2000: Episode 36 of “Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue”, “In the
Limelight”, debuts on Fox.
        EISHIN TONO, who was on “Ultraman Taro”, dies at 58 from an acute
bleeding ulcer in Tokyo.

2001: SHUICHI NAGAHARA, who wrote “Wild 7”, “The War in Space” and
“Godzilla 1985”, dies of heart failure in Tokyo. He was born in 1940.

2002: “Returner” is released in Hong Kong.
        “The Ring” is released in Australia and Hong Kong.

2003: “Ju-on: The Grudge” is released in Denmark and Spain; “Ju-on”,
the original direct-to-video version, is also released in the latter
country.

2004: Episode 39 of “Special Police Squadron Dekaranger” debuts on
Japanese TV.

2005: Episode 37 of “Power Rangers S.P.D.”, “Endings: Part 2”, debuts
on U.S. TV.

2006: The “King Kong – Extended Cut” of the 2005 remake is released on
DVD in the U.S.

2010: Episode 39 of “Celestial Clothing Squadron Goseiger” debuts on
Japanese TV.

2011: “Gantz: Perfect Answer” premieres in Germany at the Exground
