1929: STANLEY MORGAN, who played Insp. Lawson in “Konga”, is born in
Liverpool.

1935: MASUMI HARUKAWA, who was on “Horror Theater Unbalance” and
“Ultraman Leo”, is born in Tochigi, Japan.

1954: GARY DENEAULT, co-gaffer on the U.S. version of “Dark Water”, is
born in Toronto.
        MAX WILLENZ, who played the sketch artist in “Mighty Joe Young”, dies
in Los Angeles from a heart attack.

1955: ROLAND EMMERICH, who directed, co-wrote, and co-produced
“Godzilla”, as well as co-producing “Godzilla: The Series”, is born in
Stuttgart, Germany. His other films include “Moon 44”, “Universal
Soldier”,  “Stargate”, “Independence Day”, “The Patriot”, “The Day

1958: TAKANORI KIKUCHI, who played Don Moyaida on “Special Police

Biollante”, is born in Tokyo. He was the lead singer of the rock band
