dies in Alpine, Calif.

1948: CHRIS MULKEY, who played Agent Frank Pinsky in "Dragon Wars", is
born in Viroqua, Wis.

1965: HIRONOBU NOMURA, who played Kazunari Asano in "School of Ghosts
2" and teacher Tameyama in "School of Ghosts 3", is born in Tokyo. He
was also on "Ultra Q: Dark Fantasy".

1966: RICK BONGIOVANNI, mold maker on "Godzilla", is born in San Jose,
Calif.

1967: "Gamera vs. Barugon" is released in West Germany.

debuts on Japanese TV.

1972: BRUCE CABOT, who played Jack Driscoll in the original "King
Kong", dies from lung and throat cancer in Woodland Hills,
