I was just wondering whether our dear Stanley had ever seen the Simpsons,
more importantly, the spoof they made on The Shining.

I'd be curious as to know what he thought of them using the film as a
platform for comedy...

If anyone of you, dear friends, has any info on that enquiry, or your own
thoughts on the silly yet clever episode, do share !

Of course Kubrick had to have seen the Simpsons. After all, look at the
main hall of the mansion where the orgy takes place in Eyes Wide Shut.
Just a coincidence that it looks like the headquaters for the Ancient
Stone Cutters Society that Homer joins?
