an electrical problem with my 98 electraglide

good evening to you all, and thanks for having me...its been awhile
since i have posted, but i now have a problem, looking for some
guidance....ok,,,here goes..,..my bike will start up, run for a minute
or two and then shut down...i pulled a plug, put another in, and no
spark,,,ok,,,i wait sometimes a few minutes, sometimes an
hour...boom,,,starts up,,,runs sometimes, sometimes shuts
off...intermittent problem, to say the least,,,never does it when a
mechanic is looking at it,,,the other weird thing is, i thought we had
it, i rode 600 miles in 2 days,,,not a burp,,,,i get home, park it,,,3
days later wont start...

any suggestions are appreciated...

I'm gonna say start by looking at the coil.
My wife's did stuff like that right before it quit. Bike would be running
fine, stop for gas, it wouldn't start. Let it sit a while and it'd start
right up. Finally quit at a stop light and wouldn't re-start.

While you're puttin' the new coil on it, put a new set of plug
wires on too.

ok,,,good advice,,,it seems the coil is the problem,,,,running ok
now....hopefully will keep going,,,,it was an intermittent
problem......i am gonna ride this weekend and put it to the test...
