Hi everyone,
I've been trying to figure out how to put a protective coat over the
custom artwork on my pearl white Shoei RF-800 for the past few months (I
still use my HJC LT-12). Since the art was done with Sharpies, it's a very
delicate situation. Any sort gloss coat has been ruled out completely.
About the only other thing I can think of is very carefully using some
laminating sheets to protect the work. It sounds like it'll be a right
pain, but if I did it right, it would probably do the trick. I figure the
Lockhart Phillips clear vinyl lights and tank protector _might_ do it.
Another suggestion I got was using some heat shrink wrap. Where I'd get
some, I dunno. Anyway, if you all have any suggestions, hit me. Much
appreciated.
