Yeah, I kind of agree. I don't have a problem with tats for adults
and even the temp ones for kids, but this is definitely something I
wouldn't buy.

I'm wonder how much it costs - there's no price, because the item is
"currently not available". I have no problem with it, but my kids are too
old for it and it's probably something they would tire of quickly anyway.

I see nothing wrong with it! It's a job, like any other thing. Toy Doctor's
kits don't encourage kids to cut each other open, right? There's nothing
dangerous or bad about giving fake tattoos.

Great Idea!

This makes it even easier to identify the white trash in our midst.

If you tried to get the government to brand this scum there would be
outcries - better to let the trailer trash brand themselves.

The tattooed adults are whores, criminals and the retarded - their
illustrated appendages warning the unsuspecting.

Instead of the expensive toy, we should encourage the yutes to use permanent
Sharpies (C) on their faces (feces).

on the contrary, most kids who get tattoos are rebelling
against thier parents by doing something the parent is likely
to disapprove of (note i said kids, not adults).
buy the kid a toy tattoo kit when they are young & well,
there goes *that* means of rebellion ;)

that said, i doubt i'd bother with it as it's very limited.
if there are only 3 colors of markers & no refills available,
it's not worth the expense (unless it's under $10, which i
highly doubt). i have no issues with kids drawing on
themselves or each other though, so YMMV.

pretty much...
which makes me wonder how exponentially popular tattoos would
become if someone invented a glitter ink...
personally, if i were to get a tattoo, i want that invisible
ink that glows under blacklight. that stuff is so cool! :)

I have never seen one of those tattoos actually glow in a blacklight.

My mom has a tattoo of a unicorn on her chest low enough for most shirts to
cover it but not on her breast really and one day bonnie came up to me and
said "Mommy I want a unicorn picture on my booby just like Grammie."
I actualy have thought about getting a little tattoo but I cant see spending
$30+ on one.. now if they had free single color tattoo day I would concider
it :P

If I had a fit everytime my kids drew on themselves I would be hospitalized
from heart falure by now.
My inlaws dont understand my attitude of "it is just ink it will wash off."

Neither does my dh. He hates when E draws on herself but I figure,
"Hey, at least she's not drawing on the wall!" ;-)

True, and I wondered why they used boys that look like miniature
versions of Blue Collar TV for the ad. Although my dd would prefer
the flame tattoo over girly sparkly things any day.

in my house, the kid *is* more washable than the walls :)
tattoos are no big deal (except to some religious groups, but
that's not my problem, is it? <g>)

Yep, E being washable is why I don't worry about it. To me, drawing
on herself just isn't that big of a deal. Dh thought we were weird
when we drew smile faces on our toe nails with permanent marker a week
ago.... it's just now starting to wear off ;-)

Ugh. I personally think tattoos are a form of mutilation
and generally hideous, so the idea of the toy really turns
me off.

We had a freshman (age 14?) at our high school here whose legs were
tattooed from the top of her foot up to God knows where, in an overall
pattern of paisley, in purples and oranges. Unless she was planning a
career as an exotic dancer, I can't imagine what the benefit would be.
I'm assuming her father or other family member did it, as I can't
imagine the cost being borne by a kid.

Sorry this wasn't ment to be a umm shall I say a targeted or mean thing
towad you, and I am sorry you took it that way, I should have said no way
would I give this to my kids, they get enough ideads on their own, they have
gotten the markers out before and wrote on each other, but as far as tatoos,
my kids ( as of right now) (witch are young) and they are repelled by the
sight of tatoo's, my older brother has them and they are afraid of uncel
scott lol, they are weiry to touch them b/c they think they will get the ink
on them lol, sorry for the mis understanding..

Really?
Kids are all about the disposable income. Save up allowance and birthday
money year by year or month by month and pay to have a little more done.
