Track plans/maps for the prototype

I'm in the UK and I'l like to model a US scene. I can get photos from
Google Earth and the like and I've found Bill Vandevoorts maps of Chicago on
the web. In the UK we have "Quail" Maps which map the whole country
showing mileages, turnouts, stations (with platform lengths). There is a
similar publication for Switzerland.

Where do I find the same for the US?
