looking for help to put up a panning-club

hello all :)

I am totally new to this I have to admit.. but.. well I was always
fascinated from gold panning even if I have never done it before.
Because of this fascination I suggested to put a attraction to a small
theme park when new inspiration was needed... Gold-panning? I found
myself saying...

"Great idea!" said my boss.. pointed to me and told me on his way out
of the office.. "Put it together Bettina"...

peww.. as you can see I need all the help of you guys.. all the hints
and all your experience.. because honestly.. I HAVE NOO CLUE.. how to
do this..

Its fine if you feel.. well you should have shut your mouth in the
first place.. I share your feelings by the way... but for those who
would like to share there knowledge and can help me with some tips how
to go about it.. I will be forever grateful.. promise.. :)))

Assoc. of America, probably the largest gold prospectors club in the world.
Maybe they can help.

knotts Berry Farm in Anehiem CA has a panning consession. The gold
shows all have panning booths. The gold shows sponcered by the GPPA
that is.

Along with gold prostector.org theres also the state chapters,
michigans is http://www.michgpaa.com/. For basic info round pans with
a flat bottom are best, especially if they have the riffles. The
riffles (invented by the Chineese) enable the prospector to pan
through the rough material quicker and keep the gold. When ya get low
on material and down to black sands swirtch to the smooth side and
slowly pan it out untill you can fan your pan to look for gold. If yu
in an area known to have very fine powdery gold (like Michigan) a
octogon pan will help. find you the corner ya want (riffles on both
sides) and slurry down to the corner and through the riffles. The fine
gold will stay and rest in the corner for clean up. I have a many of
