The General Equivalency [High School] Diploma (GED) is authorized to any military member who successfully completed the GED course and test, OR who (as per Operation Recognition): served during World War II in any theater; OR served
in-country Korea between 27 Jul 1950 to 27 Jul 1954; OR served in-country Vietnam between 09 Sep 1954 to 31 May 1975 (Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam; or Vietnam Service Medal recipient)
