I believe you are using an odd pair of presumptions in this story.
You seem to presume that any union is a nasty affair and that workers
will always abuse the employer, if given the opportunity. I think you
should take note of that presumption because a union is only a sum of
the workers.
The presumption is absurd because we may make a similar presumption of
the owners -- and with equal truth. I could ask you to presume that
company owners will always abuse the workers, given the opportunity,
and you would find the presumption absurd.
Yet they are just people on both sides of the problem. Yes, some
companies abuse the workers. Yes, some unions abuse the companies.
You may say that workers without a union have no power to act out
their abusive nature, but they also have no power to resist abusive
companies. Some might say that is a good thing when the abuse is
totally one-sided, but I beg to differ.

I don't use meth regardless of the price. And even if the labs were
unionized, I still would not use it.

I knew the two owners and I worked there as a youth-hire.

No, I never said "always". But it's evident that some day it will happen. It's
historical.

Actually that's a historical statement. With unlimited authority and power
either way, that's exactly what happens. There can be peace in the middle. But
when the union requires the cookies and the bread to be delivered in different
trucks, trouble is brewing.

We're in the "unions abusing the companies" at this time.

Sure she did, it's called an addiction. Not unlike yourself.
As David Duchovny said in The Rapture: "It's a drug, but
instead of heroin, you do God".
> she did need food and had she used her money wisely

All she had to do was pray for the food.
Case in point:
There was a lady who lived next door to an atheist.
Everyday the lady prayed and the atheist could hear
her. He thought, "She sure is crazy, praying like that.
Doesn't she know there isn't a God?" Many times
while she was praying he would go to her house to
harass her saying "Lady, why do you pray all the time?
Don't you know there isn't a God?" But she kept on
praying. One day, she ran out of groceries. She was
praying to the Lord thanking Him for what He was
gonna do. The atheist heard her praying and thought
to himself: "I'll fix her."
He went to the grocery store and bought a whole bunch
of groceries. He took them to her house placed them on
the front porch and rang the door bell then hid in the bushes
to see what she would do. When she opened the door and
saw the groceries, she began to praise the Lord with all her
heart, jumping, singing and shoutin' everywhere!
The atheist jumped out of the bushes and told her, "You
crazy old lady, God didn't buy you those groceries, I bought
those groceries!"
Well, she started running down the street shouting and praising
the Lord. When he finally caught her, he asked what her
problem was. She said, "I knew the Lord would provide me
with some groceries, but I didn't know he was gonna make the
devil pay for them!"
As for judging that woman, what does Paul say with regard
to judgement of others within and without of the church?

Very unlike myself.

I take it that you do understand what love is, right? Do you
have a wife or a girl friend that you're devoted to ? Do you
know what it is like to have someone that you love so much that
you would sacrifice yourself for their well being ?
If you've never experienced this then perhaps we shouldn't talk

Paul never knew Christ personally nor served under Him,
John did.
John_7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
However...since you have at least shown some restraint in
your use of language when speaking with me, I want to say
thank you.

Eze 33:12b 'If someone who is righteous disobeys, that
person's former righteousness will count for nothing. And
if someone who is wicked repents, that person's former
wickedness will not bring condemnation. The righteous
person who sins will not be allowed to live even though
they were formerly righteous.' 13 If I tell a righteous
person that they will surely live, but then they trust in
their righteousness and do evil, none of the righteous
things that person has done will be remembered; they
will die for the evil they have done. 14 And if I say to
a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' but they then turn
away from their sin and do what is just and right
15 if they give back what they took in pledge for a loan,
return what they have stolen, follow the decrees that give
life, and do no evil-that person will surely live; they will
not die. 16 None of the sins that person has committed
will be remembered against them. They have done what
is just and right; they will surely live.
20b But I will judge each of you according to your own
ways.

That is not advice from John; those are Christ's words, and he is
referring to being condemned by others for healing on the sabbath day.
Joh 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the
law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have
made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous
judgment.
Those words have nothing to do with judging a person for buying beer
and cigarettes. Who knows? They could have been provided for her by
someone else as a gift for her birthday, or it could have been
something she was sent to pick up for someone else. To assume she was
doing something wrong to be buying them is judging "according to the
appearance"; it is NOT "righteous judgment". Judging according to the
appearance results in self-righteous behavior. God alone can judge
because only He knows all the circumstances of a particular situation
and all of a person's motivations.

God often works in mysterious ways.

1Co 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without?
do not ye judge them that are within?
1Co 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away
from among yourselves that wicked person.

So, if I offer any assistance to those in need as an atheist,
obviously it is the devil paying for it. LMAO

So Paul never met Christ?
You do realize that what Paul wrote there came from the OT.

It was purely accidental, and before I read some of your other
posts LOL. However, I'll try to continue that restraint unless
of course you make some bonehead post in which I simply
can't resist LOL.

And according to Paul, unless she is one of them, God will
judge those without. They are to judge those within, and that
with righteous judgment according to Jesus.
Or better yet, judge not lest you be judged.

That is too bad. I had a first impression that you were a decent person that doesn't need to resort grunts, growls and curses to
talk. Thank you for making me aware that I'm wrong.

OT would be a clue.
So Paul's writings carry less weight than John's?

"A woman scorned" is a foolish reference to the Male Chauvinist fancy
that women are meaningful only in their relations to men.
