I've got this place with walls. They're nice and all, but are lacking
a certain variety. They're all this soothing off-white color, which is
getting me all angsty.

I'm looking for pictures to put on these soothing off-white walls. I
already have a list of rules for new shipmates from David Egger's
Pirate Supply Store in San Francisco (S.F.'s *ONLY* independent
pirate supply store) but as I have many walls and that one is only
8.5 inches by 11 inches (suitable for fnarring) I need a few more.

If you were looking for Picture of Things to Look At, where would
you go?

I thank you.

I had the same problem in my kitchen, until I
put up a bunch of Frahm's "panties down" pinups.
Now I just get a lot of weird looks from dates.
To say nothing of the pomegranates, is easy.

Why are you trying to get us to do your Interior Design homework for you?

Because I'm out of ideas! And trolling around antique
stores is not my idea of a Saturday.

Do I go for the bunch of old metal signs look?
Do I go for the Ikea preframed Kandinsky look?
Do I go for the Starry Night look? It's a great
painting, but reminds me a bit too much
of school dorm rooms.

I want interesting things. Like a photo of some cowboy
getting completely knocked off a rampaging bull. Or
the Hindenberg. Or Al Capone at a baseball game getting
an autograph from one of the players while one of his
guards is startled by the kid with popcorn and pulls
his piece. Or a photo of Thomas Edison with Crazy
Scientist Hair.

Things like that. Interesting.

Sadly, I showed that picture to a coworker and I'm not sure he got the
reference.

I was going to suggest posters from the Modern Humorist:

http://www.modernhumorist.com/store/

... but either I imagined they sold posters of their posters, or they
have stopped selling them.

too bad, the ones with Hitler are great.

Despite what the movies say, the North American pack hunting
long claw dinosaur, was Deinonychus, not Velociraptor.

Are you absolutely, totally positive? I could swear I saw them in the

I betcha that there San Dancisco museum also has an aviation
history photo poster or two,if you're into that sort of thing!

Alternate idea. Go online and order lots of "Snapple" adver-art-tainment
stuff. Or both skulls and snapple! Hey!

Cheers!
