The importance of FEELING the syllable "YO" or "YA" to ENLIGHTENMENT.

Many cultures have discovered, independently, the importance of
PRONOUNCING the syllable "YO" or "YA" in sacred, religious and
personally significant PRACTICES -- often, ignorant of the true
SIGNIFICANCE of that PARTICULAR SOUND.

Rastas pronounce the name of GOD as "YAH".
Jehovah's Witnesses stress the importance of calling GOD by His real
name: "YAHWEH" (YHWH tetragrammaton), and not simply: "LORD".
The Lotus Sutra chant, called Daimoku: "NamMyohoRengeKyo" is chanted
by Nichiren Buddhists.
Tibetan Guyoto Monks chant many phrases with the partial syllable "Y"
prominent in the complex sound.
The Chinese say: "Ayah!" to express pain, anger, exasperation and
surprise.
The native peoples of Mexico say the same thing. They say: "Ayyo" or
"Ayya".
The Spanish say: "Ay mamasita" or "Ahyyayia".
The Russian pain sound (for moderate pain, at least) is "Oy".

This is the SOUND that connects you to something beyond yourself and
allows you to partake of the "Endless pool on the other side" -- SADE.

The SECRET of the SOUND is to tense the muscles in the back of your
throat CONTINUOUSLY while SILENTLY pronouncing the "Y" part of the
syllable "YO" or "YA".

Buddhists are instructed to FEEL COMPASSION while meditating.
Why COMPASSION and not GRATITUDE, which is also a UNIFYING CONCEPT?
Because, when you FEEL COMPASSION, and not simply think about it as a
CONCEPT, you ACTIVATE certain MUSCLES at the back of your throat which
PHYSICALLY puts you into a state necessary to CATAPULT you over the
THRESHOLD of ENLIGHTENMENT.
You activate the same muscle groups when you sincerely feel sorry for
a dog that has just been run over by a car.
You activate the same muscle groups when you cry -- that is why you
feel cleansed afterward.
You activate the same muscles, TEMPORARILY, when you PRONOUNCE: "YAH",
"YAHWEH", "NamMyohoRengeKyo", "Y", "Ayah", "Ayyo", "Ayya", "Ay",
"Ahyyayia" and "Oy".

You must tense the throat back muscles CONTINUOUSLY, without any
conscious DESIRE or THOUGHT, to achieve the required result -- it is a
sort of a chicken and egg thing -- "if you WANT it you won't get it".

Afterward, FEELING and KNOWING absolutely the INTERCONNECTEDNESS of
EVERYTHING, without thought or doubt -- your relationship to the
Universe becomes clear.

Happy Awakenings.
