Apparently Brahmananda Saraswati's cook was the
Swami Prakashananda Saraswati! He was arrested
on indictments alleging twenty counts of indecency
with a child/sexual contact.

"When he was in Fairfield close to 20 years ago he
was claiming that our Guru Dev was his master. He
said that he was Guru Dev's cook, that he knew
Maharishi and would imply that Maharishi was of lowly status in the
ashram because he was only a
clerk. People felt more comfortable following him

Maybe so, but according to Dr. Sutphen, the Swami
Prakashanand was in Fairfield, IA, and the swami is
quoted as making the claim that it was he, the swami,
that was the cook of SBS. If so, then we can assume
that the swami cook served at least one meal to the
SBS and maybe it was a cooked meal.

Well, I don't think that the SBS even had a cook.

From what I've read, the SBS didn't even eat cooked
meals, and if he did, he would have cooked the meal
for himself. Dandi swami's are not supposed to be
messing around with fire. But, there's no evidence
that SBS died of anything except natural causes.

Jeezus take a trip toHirishikesh and you can see all the yogis sit in line
and and have their food served by the local people. Believe in what you see,
not in myths, dont get me wrong there are some sadhus who eat uncooked food
and who drink urine but most folks live as humans.

Maybe so, but this description of SBS doesn't sound
like a sadhu who stands in food lines in Rishikesh to
get some cooked food served by others:

"He used to live only on germinated gram seeds mixed
with a little bit of salt. He lived on a hillock in a small
natural cave near a mountain pool."

According to Tilwari in, 'The Whole Thing The Real Thing',
Swami Brahmanand passed away in Calcutta while on tour.
Swami Shantanand was at Shankar Math at Allahabad.
Apparently there were three people in attendance at
Brahmanand's passing. None of these witnesses, to my
knowledge, have ever said anything about Brahmanand
being poisoned in a conspiracy between Mahesh Yogi and
the Jyotrimath ashram cook.
