I was also diagnosed with PT FMS after an on the job injury. I also had
herniated discs and spinal stenosis. This was in 92-93. I do think even through
we are diagnoses with PT all the symptoms are the same for FMS. I mean it
doesn't matter how you got the disease, its still the same.
There is a book by Mark J. Pellegrino, M.D., Understanding Post-Traumatic
Fibromyalgia that is pretty good. You will have to call the publishers to get
the book. It's 800 633-0055. I have no financial interest in the book, I just
know someone else tried to get it and it is no longer offered by the
Fibromyalgia Network where I got mine.
I take Ambien for sleep, sometimes Benadry. You usually have to play with your
meds somewhat to find out what works for you, and hope you find a doctor that
will help...Good luck to you...Stay Warm..Paula.

Welcome to the club, Ambian works somewhat for me but from what I have read it
works good for others.

I'd also like to share for anyone that didn't know (if your mouse is set up
like mine)
if you want to save a bookmark/favorite place of a page that's in frames and
won't let you: 1. Go to the Link
2: use your right click button
3. Scroll down to "open in new window. This might open most separately then
you can save it.
Hope this helps,
Barb
