Or, in keeping with an oriental theme (Himalayans), Yin and Yang?

"I am Life. I am the soil that nurtures the seed. I am breath and blood and
living stone. I am antler and wing, comet and star; I am the earthworm crawling.
I am ice and flame, hoof and hand; I am the rain that falls.
I am the stillness before the dawn, and the wind that breathes on the land.
I am the Song the Maker Sang in the hour before time began."

So, I don't know if it would be right to have an animal. I am concerned
about being able to pay for my *own* bills. Will have to see how things
work out before I get myself a furry companion.

Oh, well, if he's gonna be like *that*, name them Proust and Neitzche
(sp--sorry, brain fog!)
Just don't call 'em late for dinner.
As a cat lover, and one who none too recently had NINE, I can offer some
suggestions. We named ours Shadow (grey), Rain (she loved it :)), Thunder
(her brother), Lucky (got bit by a snake as a kitten and BARELY survived),
Mokey (short for smoky), Winston (he tried to eat cigarettes at his "former"
home), Patches (a calico), Spanky (little and orange), and Miss Tickles (her
previous owner named her mystical, but we called her Miss T. and then...).
Anyway, my experience is that if you give them a few days, they name
themselves. Watch any peculiar habits and sounds. It's kinda like giving
Indian names, if the shoe fits wear it!
Oh, we don't have any cats now, because we had to move out of the city and
our new home won't allow them, but they're happy on the farm!

My Himalayan isn't white/gray - he's a chocolate point, so he's a pale cream
with chocolate brown tail, legs, ears, and face "mask". He's a wonderful cat,
but be prepared for that long fur to mat like crazy. We brush almost daily (he
hates it), and he gets a bath (by a professional groomer) about every 6 months
to get rid of the fine dander. When I got him he was 2YO and so matted I had to
have him shaved.
In all, I have (now) three cats - the Himalayan and two Siamese-mix short-haired
males. I've named them for poets (Rilke), opera characters (Tamino from
Mozart's The Magic Flute) and - in the past - for mythological figures. I
generally wait to name them until I've had them about a week so I get some idea
of their personality.
Hope you enjoy them - I know life would be really 2D without mine!

I've been on disability for about a year now. I was denied twice and ended
up hiring someone to help me. You can hire a lawyer who specializes in
disability cases or, you can do what I did, and go thru a company that
specilizes in the same. They will usually take your case on a contingency
basis - meaning, they only take a percentage if they actually 'win' your
case. Otherwise, there should be no charge to you.
If you want to tell me where you are, the company that represented me might
have an office there and you could get in touch with them if you so desire.
Or, ask around and maybe someone you or your parents know can point you in
the right direction.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions please feel free to
ask:-) Take care and feel better.
