PERMISSION TO REPOST
Just a reminder about the ME awareness leaflet for the general public now it
is ME awareness month already - it is an A5 leaflet (ie 2 sides of A4 folded)
to give out to the general public, simple and in large print with bold and
boxes to make it stand out.
It is downloadable as a pdf from
http://www.mechat.co.uk/db/tips.htm
or I can send a word copy to anyone who would like one. There is a list of ME
charities on the back which can be tailored for local ones if needs be.
They are handy to put in libraries, docs and dentists surgeries, shop counters
etc and if people are collecting at supermarkets or at fundraising events or
at demos. I give one (or more) to my carers and keep a stack by the front
door so no-one who comes to the house - even a lost delivery man asking
directions - escapes without one :-)
They are also handy to give to friends and family members to distribute - a
good way of getting them to read it without implying they need to ;-)
My friend took a lot to church and put them on the seats (and collected the
few left over afterwards) when they had prayers for ME sufferers in ME
awareness week.
Any comments or suggestions always welcome.
