I missed that one momentarily, because I was silly only hunting for
the perfect factors.

Difference of squares, casio fx 82 MS schools sci calc.

= ~ .. 18 39.00 00 64 , sixteen significant figures.!! [ 10 +6.]

Decimal part is given by, [integer ceil] – 883.544^2

e.g. final digit = 1-.004^2 = -.000016 =~ .00 00 64. Etc. confirmed.
Long multiplication, 9 ooo * .004, e.g. = 36. Not a fraction.

N = a^2-b^2 = (a-b) * (a+b)
= 61110^2 – (11,054 7/8)^2
=~ ... 1838 47/64.

60321^2 - 5138.21^2 = ~ 1838.9959 v good.

Other differences of squares

= 36 12 22 18 39. 026 944.

=61172^2 – 11,392.618^2 ~ .. 1839. 10 60 76

Linux command-line calculator checked and basically functional.Hmm-- it
does say "arbitrary precision", maybe I should set it to 50K decimal
places and try again?. I always did think that Casio calculators sucked!.

Get a Hewlett Packard. Once you've used one, everything else sucks.
I switched from my old faithful TI to an HP41 about thirty years ago
and underwent the RPN epiphany.
