SECOND wedding? What happened to the first? Did she get divorced? Did it
drive her to serious mental illness, as you claim is the fate for Orthodox
Christian women going through a divorce?

I will not give you my e-mail address. You have abused that privilege in the
past; I won't have you flooding my Inbox with your manufactured drama.

You and your ex-husband were NOT married in the Orthodox church. You joined
the Orthodox church AFTER you divorced. So claiming that you were
"dissolving an Orthodox Christian marriage" is duplicitous.

You *earned* the negative comments. If only you had not dragged my comments

I chose this group because it appears to be unused, except by spammers.
We're not disrupting any established online communities or ongoing
conversations by carrying on a discussion here. I don't want to subject any
other groups to the endless back-and-forth you seem to crave.

This is insane, whoever you are. This is not discreet public conduct.
This will excite untoward comment. What are you doing?
The woman is Catholic. I don't know about her first marriage. She was
divorced. I don't know her. I divorced my husband and it made me
mentally ill. That is my problem and not yours and I do not want to
talk about it in public, so stop. I don't want to talk about my
divorce in public either, nor her second marriage, nor her divorce.

Yes I did and I will not tell you why in public. I would not do it
again but you do not know that because you will not give me a second
chance. I do not think it would be too hard for you to figure given
what we discussed and your intelligence. I think you are refusing to
examine the facts of the matter. If you were to look at what happened

for my past behavior.

That is a lie. We joined the Orthodox Church when we were married.
Then I divorced him. It was made an Orthodox Christian marriage when
we were received in the Church.I will communicate with you as long as
I need to clear up these falsehoods on public record. I deserve the
privacy of email communication and not this shameless public exposure.
I will repeat, I am a devout Russian Orthodox mother and this is
abusive.

I do not crave your negative attention. I do not want to communicate
in a public newsgroup. I do not know who you are nor why you are
mocking that vladyka. This will conversation will draw observers. I do
not wish to converse with you in this manner. I also have a prayer
life and God also hears my prayers and I will continue to pray about
this conversation. Having this conversation in a public newsgroup is
against my will but I am complying with your will, consenting to your
jokes, tricks, negative attention, scorn, humiliation, ridicule,
persecution, mockery, abusive language and harshness.

You were the one who brought up the fact that it was your friend's second
wedding. You were also the one who wrote, "Dissolving an Orthodox Christian

marriage is a very serious affair and would make any Orthodox Christian

woman seriously mentally ill." So it's natural to ask whether your friend
is mentally ill, isn't it? After all, you said ANY OC woman would become
mentally ill if she got divorced. Were you lying?

Are you trying to tell me that your behavior should be EXCUSED because of
your "explanation"? Are you trying to shrug off any kind of accountability?
Penance has failed. Excommunication has failed. How do you intend to save
your soul?

Those who read aue recognized what I wrote and informed me. You might as
well have named me, for the recognition that I got.

I doubt that this conversation will draw observers, at least not in the near
term. Who would follow? Huey? +TC? What do you think will be disclosed here
that they don't already know? And given the nature of this group, I think
you can at least be assured that nobody will accuse you of posting
off-topic.

My friend is not an Orthodox Christian woman, she is a Catholic woman.
It is an interfaith marriage. Now I have a question for you. I have
just spoken to two Catholic friends and can not get a satisfactory
answer. I was not married in the canonical OC church. I was received
as a married woman into the canonical OC church. Did that make my
marriage OC or not?

I am not a liar. I apparently can not communicate very well on the
web, meaning in a public newsgroup.

I also was being rhetorical. I will not discuss my mental health in
this public newsgroup with you. If you wish to discuss it with me then
take it to private email and I will discuss it with you there, under
personal confidentiality.

I am telling you that there is a reason for my behavior and I will not
explain it in this public newsgroup, I will explain it in private
email in personal confidentiality. I am accountable, however there is
a very real reason why I acted the way I did at this exact same time
last year and why I can respect your limit at this time this year. I
would not write to you during the Fast if you allowed me to write to
you in private again. I would do whatever you asked of me, believe it
or not. I came here for you, despite the scornful humiliation it has
caused me to feel. My compliance with your simple request should
indicate my very real repentance. I have excommunicated myself, I have
not received communion in three weeks due to my inability to get to
confession due to my parent responsibilities. I will not discuss this
further in this public newsgroup but only in private email under
obtained personal confidentiality. I am asking for a personally
confidential private email correspondence with you. This is not
discreet behavior for a devout Orthodox Christian mother to be
engaging in and you know that.

How could they have informed you when you do not have a valid email
address? I said I am sorry. This is not an appropriate venue for our
long term back and forth, it belongs in private personally
confidential email and the public knows that and says so. Listen to
the people, they are right this time.

There is a lot they do not know. I do not want to correspond with you
in this public newsgroup. I want personally confidential private
email. You do not even name your devout Coptic mother woman friend in
public and you shame and scorn and embarrass and humiliate me and
ridicule and persecute me publicly. I am asking you to please stop and
give me another chance to prove myself to you although I do not think
a woman should have to prove herself to a man and for all I know you
could be playing a joke and a trick on me and be a woman.
I do not want to deal with Huey, truly clooful, or Lin. Believe me,
they will come. They stalk me and they troll me. And you know that is
the truth. Treat me with the dignity and respect you know is due to
me. Huey wants to get my ISP yanked when he is the troll. If you care
about me at all and want to communicate with me at all then you will
give me what I am rightfully asking for: personally confidential
private email communication.
This is an incredible violation of my boundaries and I wish you to
stop and act like a decent gentleman, if you are indeed a man.
And don't concern yourself with my soul. I told you I am struggling
with my prior atheism. My soul is my problem and not your problem.
Whether or not I go to heaven or hell is my business and not your
business.

No, it was not. That doesn't necessarily affect your standing in the Church,
but it means that your daughter's entry into the Church is more difficult.

On the contrary, this is the PERFECT forum for communication between us. I
reiterate, I will not disclose my personal e-mail address to you. A
clandestine correspondence leads to accusations of an inappropriate
relationship -- and haven't you done enough of that already?

>> Those who read aue recognized what I wrote and informed me. You might as

Of course I have a valid e-mail address! I merely choose not to reveal it to
all and sundry. The people who informed me are known to me personally, and I
have entrusted them with my e-mail address. None of THEM have abused it.

> This is not an appropriate venue for our long term back and forth, it

As I wrote earlier, this is the perfect venue. Our conversation is not
off-topic here. This is exactly the kind of conversation this newsgroup was
created to support.

You will not get private e-mail from me. I am willing to discuss the Coptic
woman here, but would knowing the details really make you feel better? Think
carefully before answering; knowledge can harm as well as help -- and
remember the Fruit of the Tree in the Garden which led to the Fall.

What do you think you could do to "prove" yourself?

Do not attempt to wheedle or extort favors from me by saying, "if you care
about me." I have told you that I will not conduct a secret correspondence
with you, and my word on that is final. If you BEHAVE yourself in this
forum, I see no foothold that could be gained by the ones you mention. If
they "troll" you, simply filter them.

A public conversation in no way violates your boundaries. YOU are pushing
the boundaries by asking for my private e-mail address. That's just as
inappropriate as asking for my Social Security Number or my percentage of
body fat. Ask as you are compelled, but I have no intention of giving you
the information you request.

So I did not have an Orthodox Christian marriage. What does that mean
for my future? My daughter got baptized the day after we got chrismated.
We got chrismated on her 38th day of life. She was baptized into the OC
church. It says so on her baptismal certificate.

I will not communicate with you publicly like this. I asked for a
private personal confidential correspondence, not a clandestine one. I
apologize for accusing you of an inappropriate relationship. It was a
false accusation and an unChristian thing to do. I told you I was
struggling with my Christianity and I meant it and mean it. I do not
wish to have a relationship with you in a public newsgroup, I am sorry.
It is not worth it to my future nor my daughter's. I don't want our
relationship archived for the public. It is shameful and humiliating and
disgraceful and indiscreet and excites incredible amounts of untoward
comment to relate like this. I would rather have no relationship than a
relationship in a public newsgroup with archives. I am sure you can find
many more women who would be happy to oblige you in this kind of
mockery, ridicule and persecution.

Well how did they know who you are? Look, I don't want to go on like

I don't know, ok? This is incredibly unpleasant, indiscreet and
ungraceful. I could show you that when you asked me not to write to you
during the Fast I won't but I do not wish to carry on this public
archived correspondence. I would rather not communicate with you then

Then please do not respond for I do not wish to continue this public
archived conversation. I have no idea who you are. I am tired of the

You don't need me. Go your way and enjoy your night and the rest of your

Did the priest perform the Rite of Rivnoplaskaya, as required for children
born outside the church? If so, then your daughter is part of the Church.

To an auditor and to the general public, they are both secret
correspondences. Open forums are the only permissible means of communication
between us.

What exactly do you think COULD take place here, to generate such adverse
publicity? Were you intent on expressing undying love for me? The public
nature of this forum protects and inhibits us from that kind of thing.

By contrast, if we were carrying on the kind of correspondence you request,
there could be hideous impropriety, and *that* would generate the kind of
gossip you're trying to avoid.

Please point out where I have mocked, ridiculed, or persecuted you in this
forum. This is the ONLY forum where your posts have not been grossly
off-topic and therefore deserving of castigation.

Indeed I do; I cherish them with every breath. And if one of them happens to
be a Coptic woman, I thank God for the blessings I receive.

Of course I am not! Didn't I make that clear when I wrote, "Your anatomy is
of no concern to me"?

NOW you're worrying about "proper behavior"? Why weren't you worrying about
it a month ago? Furthermore, we do NOT have an intimate connection. You are
wishing for something that is not there, and never was.

An auditor and the general public does not need to know we are having a
private personal confidential correspondence. I do not wish to
communicate with you in a public newsgroup. It is very indiscreet and I
repeat, it will attract untoward comment. I have already attracted
another denizen of s.s.b.b. who also joined femconnexion. I do not want
to deal with her either. You have no respect for me.

That is absolutely ridiculous. A public newsgroup brings me unwanted
recognition. I do not even know who you are. I am conversing with a
total stranger and this is absolutely insane. I don't act improperly in
private personal correspondence. A private personal correspondence would
generate no gossip because no body would know about it.

That comment in itself is a form of mockery. I do not wish to engage in
mental masturbation with you in a public newsgroup with archives. That
is very degrading and humiliating. Like I said, I am sure you can find
plenty of perverted women who would be happy to engage you in this
puerile activity. I don't like the open nature of Usenet. Anyone can

So why do you always concern yourself with the souls of others? Hm? I

that he doesnt murder his own soul by mocking you. I *know* it.

I never wrote to Vladyka Ticken, Vladyka Ticken is Bob Terwilliger.
However, I may go and count the messages I sent to vladyka, the messages
he sent to me, the number of messages I sent him per day and vice versa,
and how our friendship rose and fell. That way when Bob Terwilliger
hurls another vile accusation against me, I will have the precise truth
to defend me from his allegation.

What a tragedy. I messed up yes, and vladyka *slammed* the iron gates
in my face. No repentance for vladyka, he doesn't give a damn. How sad.
It was enjoyable while it lasted. Too bad he doesn't believe in second
chances. I do and will always accept him back should he ever leave his
cave again.

So did you mail my priest? He has had the flu. I hope you did not cause
him to catch it. Cheesefare week is now upon us, and Lent shall begin
next week.

And my name is Olympiada not Atlanta. I am no longer an atheist, I am a
Christian and have a Christian name: Olympiada.

Why should I answer them? This is a public newsgroup with archives. I
will say my evening prayers and see if I should. I will think about it.
You are right, people do find me funny. And not in the way you think.
You lack the Orthodox frame of reference to get my humor, so you
denigrate it instead.
Why don't you be more clear in your writing and not address me in the

Reading comprehension issues again? I did not address you in the third
person. I was talking ABOUT you TO the OP. Im not gossiping, you silly
girl, look that one up too. Im mocking you, yes. However, I do not
know anything about you that you youself did not tell the world. I
dont see any assertions in my post that constitute gossip.

*snrk* gossip is rarely done in front of the person in question. Now,

I admit that I'm' getting GREAT pleasure from this. This afternoon Lin told
me that you had exactly ONE post for the bulk of the day, so I Googled your
question to alt.religion.christian.russian-orthodox:

Actually, it was a total shot in the dark. I estimate about a 99%
probability that Whack-Job wrote copious e-mails to the real Bishop Vladyka
Tikhon (Fitzgerald), OCA, so I simply put my speculation forward as if it
were an established fact, and she 'fessed right up.

I'm still laughing about how she bit on "Rite of Rivnoplaskaya."

That's fine. I hadn't heard of it so I asked. Nothing wrong with that.
Looking at it, yes it looks ridiculous. Then again, a lot of stuff in
Church Slavonic is unfamiliar to me, especially when it is written in
Cyrillic. Have you ever read a Slavonic service book? I didn't think so.
Guess what? Its not my problem that you are getting sick pleasure from
impersonating a bishop. That's your problem. I followed through, and
learned the truth. Nothing wrong with that either. I don't make
assumptions.
Two separate people have warned me about you. I wish vladyka would hold
you accountable for your sickness. He should. He could. I would like him
to. You deserve to get a scathing email from him.

And if coyote wants to gossip about me off line that's also her problem.
As I stated, a single act of gossip could destroy someone's life or
murder someone spiritually. Gossip used to be an unforgivable sin until
the rite of Confession was established.
Back to your made up rite. I am such a doubtful skeptic that even after
I asked our in house scholar I had to keep looking. Now that you have
admitted it, I can let it go. However, the Orthodox world and the
Christian world are going to know about you and they are not going to
like you, I can assure you of that. If your intention is to alienate the
Orthodox world and the Christian world, you shall accomplish that goal
pretty fast.
I am sure there are better things for you to do with your time than
harass me. And I will not be answering any more questions. You have
shown your character to be quite foul.

I feel sorry for you that you and your girlfriend get some kind of sick

human being to both of you and you will never ever reach his spiritual
status and power.

"Us"? "US"? Again, I was talking about YOU. I was mocking YOU. I dont
care about your silly Church. I never even knew it existed until you
came blathering your nonsense all over my backyard. You have a habit
of using words repetetively, incorrectly and out of context, or at
minimum in ways that sound stilted and awkward.

You also seem to assume that everyone that is mocking you is
SCRUTINIZING YOU *because* you are OCA. Nothing could be further from
the truth, Atlanta, its all about you, not the Church.

You are just an awful lot of fun to play with, thats all. When you
arent driving people batshit, anyway.

*snrk* that would require someone to believe such things, and I do
not. Im not a member of your Church; my soul, if indeed I have one, is
just fine - thank you for your concern.

As to "gossip"? It very much depends on which of the definitions you
are using. Im going with "a chatty talk", since all the personal
details I know about you were revealed BY YOU in a public place. It is
hardly as though I were taking secrets you told me in confidence and
spreading them around. I just get a kick out of telling people about
this crank on Usenet I know, and encourage them to go check you out. A
number of them have, and have thanked me for the laugh.

Any life-destroying is entirely at your own doorstep, Atlanta, since
you are the one who revealed *everything* we know, online, in a public
forum that is archived for ...ever. The fact that such information
tends to take on a life of its own is something you should have
thought of before spilling your life-story all over the internet.

If you mock me, you mock my church. I am joined to my Church, an
extension of my church and my church has authority over me in return. I
have a habit of using as few words as possible as to avoid
misunderstanding. There are unfriendly eyes all over Usenet and I have
come under their scrutiny. Your backyard came *much* later in the game.
I still want to know who asked me to write there for them and why. I
tend to be obedient in order to find out the truth. I usually get what I
want: the truth. I am still waiting for a confirmation of the truth on
that one. I am a very skeptical and doubtful person and the person who
requested I write there for them needs to know that. I do not know if
that person is reading this group or not.

You are right, I am very persistent and forceful. I don't like being
played with, nor lied to, and I do persist after the Truth.

My name is Olympiada to you, not Atlanta.

I would like permission to post a message to your backward regarding my
Golden Quotes site for it has appeared there, in a quote that mentions
Troia by name. The same person has tracked me from
alt.religion.christian.east-orthodox to soc.subculture.bondage-bdsm
through a variety of Yahoo groups. I sent that Golden Quotes link to a
friend in Internet Security and she gave me a lot of links to try and
track that person down. I would rather have them come forth. That person
has made me unwelcome and dishonored in both Usenet groups they have
pulled my quotes from and that person is toxic to me. I want and need to
know who they are. They have ignored my emails. I have my hunches as to
their identity and I want them confirmed. It is a Russian or a Russian
Orthodox. You have my permission to forward this to Troia if you like or
invite her here. I know she is interested in that web link.

You may also invite truly clooful here and all those who have accused me
of shaming my church. S/he is the most vocal of my critics. Or you may
forward this message to s/he. I won't. S/he has ignored my email as well.

Perhaps s/he is the editor of Golden Quotes. Who knows.

Why should I be ashamed of my life story? I am not. I have people
begging to be my friends and to connect with me elsewhere and I am
*ignoring* them. I wrote in your backyard because someone asked me to
and I enjoy being compliant. I am still waiting for that person to

You are responsible for your gossip and your gossip destroys my life.
There is no getting around that. There are millions of people who write
about their life on the Internet and you choose to gossip about mine.
You have no personal accountability what so ever. It is you who are the
liar coyote. Deal with it.

Aren't you interested to know who asked me to write for them in your

How does gossip destroy a person's life? That is obvious. Gossip which
is falsehood and lies gives some a false bad reputation. I know. I have

I will never make sense to you. Not only do I have an Orthodox world
view, I live in this world, and am not of it. I am striving to take
Kingdom of Heaven by force. I chose to reject the Roman Catholic faith
of my mother and adopt the Russian Orthodox faith. It has been said I
would have made a good Roman Catholic saint. My mother has said I am
like Joan of Arc. And I have been told by a hybrid bishop, not my
retired one, that Crusade is a way for Christians. My maternal
grandfather gave me a Crusade button. That is my path like it or not.
Stay out of my way Lynn.

No ~coyote, you are doing it by gossiping about me and my daughter in
your backyard. You stop gossiping about me and my daughter in a
murderous and destructive fashion and I will stop playing in your
backyard. You continue to gossip about me in a destructive and murderous
manner in your backyard and I will continue to monitor your
conversations and let you know you are lying. It is my reputation you
are seeking to harm. There is no reason for you to gossip about a devout
Russian Orthodox mother and her daughter and her church and her retired
bishop in a BDSM group at all. I told you it was a mistake for me to
join. Now you have to admit that it was a mistake for you to gossip

You are SUCH A STUPID CUNT!

The answer has been given to you time and again, and you IGNORE it, while
wailing about your predicament!

It's very simple: All you have to do is SHUT THE FUCK UP.

Why doesn't that sink in with you?

That is just plain false. You have no authority to represent your church. Do
you? Shall I call your parish priest and ask him, and direct him to this
conversation so he can verify the truth of what I say?

Tell the truth about whether or not you wrote to me in another name in
December and January. I will not be silent if you gossip about me and my
daughter in a murderous and destructive fashion.I will defend her and my
name. Stop gossiping about me and I will stop talking. You are a misogynist.

I am not wailing. I am fighting back.

I am impervious to your misogyny. I will not allow it to sink in.

I am not trying to represent my Church. Someone has linked me up with my
Church for all eternity on my Golden Quotes site so that wherever I go I
will be seen as an excommunicate of my retired bishop and his diocese.
My parish priest's parish office telephone is busy. I just tried to call
myself.
My parish priest is not interested in this conversation. You started it
by directing me here. I asked you a question: did you write to me under
another name in email at amkemail2006-bdsm@... in December and January.
Tell the truth.

Read the Gospel. The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent
take it by force. My parish priest needs to hear about nothing. I asked
you a question: did you write to me under another name in December and
January. Answer my question. You are a nasty and unpleasant person and
you and your girlfriend are getting a sick pleasure from this and
someone needs to hold you accountable.

I need to know the truth from you so I can make a choice about Usenet.

Yes or No?

I think you need to look up the definition of "gossip", Atlanta. My
only remark was to note that the spam uptick started around the same
time the AUK trolls followed you to SSBB. I also later posted an
acknowledgement that was I had been incorrect in that statement.

So you are persistent and forceful, and you apply it to pissing off a
large number of people you dont even know, on the Internet? Useful
application of your driving energies. Really. Im impressed.

Oddly enough, your forcefulness has totally failed to intimidate
anyone thus far. Perhaps, not so forceful? Id say that power lies in
getting results, not in impotently screaming at people in ascii,
making demands on perfect strangers that you have no control over, and
menacing them with "now you will see my forcefulness!". Er...how? What
did you think you could do?

Yes, that is in fact my opinion, and one that is shared by many. I
many not know you offline, but that is not what counts in this world.
What counts here on Usenet is how you have presented yourself ONLINE,
and that presentation has been frankly laughable.

Nothing Lynn. I can't win. You will continue to gossip about me. Ty
will continue to forward my posts to my ISP. I will continue to report
her abusive harassment. Its not worth. I can't stop you from gossiping
about me. Ty calls a PISS on me and then continues to talk about me,
allows the group to talk about me, and forwards my posts to my ISP
when I defend my self and my daughter. Its just not worth it. I have
far better places to spend my time. I am sorry for bringing all this
drama to Usenet which is most definitely *not* a safe place. I wish
everyone would just stop gossiping about me. You all chased me here
because you just couldn't stop yourselves. Exercise some self
discipline, would you? I have done what I can to try and stop the
gossip and I can not. It simply is not worth my time. I have made some
good friends on Usenet, especially my most recent one, she knows who
she is and I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her wise
kindness.
Perhaps one day I will find a group I can tolerate that is not
hostile. One that is stoic *and* respectful. Until then, forget it.

That would be because you are fun to bait. If you didnt rise to it like
a trout, reliably...it would not be nearly as much fun. People have been
giving you the solution to this for months now: stop posting the way you
do and people will stop mocking you.

Us pathetic creatures with no lives, family, careers or hobbies have
nothing better to do that chase you around, you know? You are THAT
important.

(Hint: *that's* an ironic statement)

Lady, youre just not that interesting. If you go away, people will
forget about you in short order.

One thing Id like to point out to you is that other people dont get
talked about, or treated the way you do. Have you given any thought to
why? What is the difference between them and you? Why doesnt Usenet
"gossip" about me, about Ty, about Shirley, in spite of the facts that
we have published a good bit about our personal lives, over the years?

Hint: it has nothing to do with religion.

You do not have to answer that. Food for thought, as it were. If you
would like to have a *constructive* dialog about it, feel free to answer
in a reasonable fashion.

If you want to rant at me, Ill just mock you some more.

The way I do? Like I said, I see no devout Orthodox Christian
matushkas out here. And the ones I know that do post on Yahoo or the
Indiana list have pretty fiery personalities themselves. This is the
harshest place of them all, coyote. I would introduce you to some of
my friends, those devout Orthodox Christian matushkas, but they have
better things to do with their time, like defend the real clergymen
that are under fire in places like the Orthodox Forum. You think this

Really? But since I am here you can not help yourself and have to
chase me to a group called alt.masturbation.mental where Bob
Terwilliger got flushed out by a friend?

Did I say it did? I have an Orthodox world view, you do not. I am
living in this world but not of it. You are. There is a fundamental
clash here, or alt.usage.english. The few devout people I run into on
alt.gothic or soc.subculture.bondage-bdsm get swayed by group
conscience and become unsafe themselves. And some of the devout ones I
meet on alt.religion.christian.east-orthodox have a different opinion
on bishopric celibacy and think their point of view is correct and
mine is not.

That is how it goes. It has everything to do with religion, for me.

DINGDINGDINGDINGDING! Ladies and gentlemen: WE HAVE A WINNAH!

YOU WIN! Because you... ...er, can't win. Sorry.

I dunno if that's correct or not, but the prosecution is willing to so
stipulate.

That's probably not true, though.

'it', I think. It's not worth 'it'.

I certainly hope so. I'd start with the daughter, if I were you.

You mentioned wanting to learn how to write ironically? Okay, here's a
hint: all of us posting to alt.masturbation.mental? That's irony.
...except for you, because you really are just here for the mental
masturbation. It's humor, but you probably don't get it, because it's at
your expense.

> Exercise some self discipline, would you?

That's also pretty funny, coming from you. You seem to lack the ability
to walk away from usenet, even when pretty much every sane person on it
has already made it abundantly clear that they're not terribly
interested in talking to you for very long.

> I have done what I can to try and stop the gossip and I can not.

You have not: you could leave, and it would all stop in relatively short
order.

Yes, the way you do. Your posts are repetitive, and vary from the
hysterical to the vulgar, you attack people who are trying to help you,
and castigate those that dont try. You fill your posts with religious
nonsense everyone has told you they dont care about, and persisted in
doing it even after promising to stop.

"The way you do", yes. Exactly so.

All what? The exposure your Church is getting in the (real) press? No, I
dont think it is a joke. I think it is sad. I am talking about you, not
your Church, and you cannot seem to differentiate between the two. That
is not my problem, it is yours.

*sigh* I was trying to be reasonable and help you understand some
things, Atlanta. I guess I wasted my keystrokes.

Yes, I do. You have repeatedly demonstrated your lack of grasp of the
English language, and of "irony and sarcasm" in particular, or I would
not have asked you the (serious) question about English being your
second language.

Thank you for your pity. Ill file it in the same place I file the idiocy

"Yes, but Ive been doing it that way all along!" Lather, rinse, repeat.

Im here because you amuse me. If you go away, I will find other sources
of amusement. Mark Ferguson is always a good target.

That does not change my assertion that if you go away, people will
forget about you relatively quickly - certainly in less than the 6-7
months youve been annoying them.

What? You might not believe this, lady, but in my 8 years on SSBB, noone
has EVER asked about my religious beliefs...or anyone else's for that
matter. Ive never mentioned it one way or another, so the fact that Im
an atheist (according to you) has exactly fuckall to do with it. Same
goes for Ty and Shirley.

*sigh* There goes the 747, zooming over your head again. Please, for the

the lack of it. Try.

That is indeed how people are. Not everyone agrees, and not everyone
agrees with *you*, and no amount of repetition is going to change that.

That has become abundantly clear. Equally clear is the fact that we

Yeah, and? Thats a good thing? You who claim to be gracious, discreet,

aggressive"? You know what? So is my male dog, and he is isolated from

That doesnt answer the question of why I am not gossiped about, nor Ty,
nor Shirley. Granted, not the right fit, but that is not the answer to
the question. It has to to with behavior, but you wont see that, will you?

Is this a real apology? As in "Im sorry, and I wont do it again"? Or is
it one of the "Im sorry, until about 24 hours from now when I will
compulsively do the exact same thing again"? apologies?

You made that idea next to impossible, what with your 20 nyms and

will just enjoy mocking you, instead. Either way, its fine with me, as

I did not claim to be "gracious, discreet and pleasant". I said someone
wanted to conduct myself in this manner. And I believe the Holy Spirit
is behind this because yesterday someone else in a semi-public
newsgroup, suggested some Scripture for me to read to become the kind of
a woman a Christian man would want to marry.

I am not trying to justify anything. I am merely stating that aggression
is a part of my nature.

I told you before that a devout Russian Orthodox matushka that I know is
a pit bull when necessary to defend her batushka and children from
stalkers and predators. She is not isolated. I don't appreciate your
contemptuous tone. I see you think I am delusionary. I am not.

A devout woman friend who is monitoring this conversation told me not to
engage with people who put me down and make negative remarks. Even a
dominant man friend told me the same thing. Well with their silent
support, I can do this.

>
>
>>> and castigate those that dont try.

> You're slipping again.

Am I slipping? Last night I spoke to a devout Roman Catholic divorcée on
the phone. I asked him about what Bob Terwilliger told me about Jesus
castigating those who needed it. My man friend told me that Jesus did
indeed castigate the Pharisees because they knew better. There is an
authority that comes from Jesus. I don't claim to have that authority
but I know it is possible to have it. Bob Terwilliger does not have
that kind of authority. He is domineering, not strong. He is malicious
and brittle.

Yesterday morning someone wrote to me in a semi-public newsgroup:
> If your divorced was biblically based (adultery or willful dissertion
> St Mt 5:31f & 1 Cor 7:15f) then you are free to marry whomsoever
> you will - only in the Lord. This doctrine is only valid is
> Christianity and obedience to Christ is important.
So I read the whole section on /Righteousness Illustrated, /Matthew
5:21-48, according to the Orthodox Study Bible. Verses 5:34-36 are as
follows:

'"But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it
is God's throne;
nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it
is the city of the Great King.
Nor shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair
white or black."
NKJV

And the footnote:

"*5:34-36 *Jesus speaks against casual use of God's name and
superficial oaths. The words of Jesus have not only a negative
meaning, but a positive one also. They not only forbid us to
*swear*, that is to bind ourselves with an oath; they also command
us to speak the truth and to keep our promises."

I do not believe I made a promise. I will not look at that Message-ID. I
believe I complied with your demand, and I recanted my compliance. I
will not comply with your demand. If you don't like my religion, don't
read my writing. You came here to talk to me.

I left your backyard. Now you came out here. You know I am going to talk
about religion so if you don't like it, go away!

I disagree. All of you are atheists. You don't like my religion. That's
not my problem anymore. I left your backyard. So now what's the problem?

is all that is.

20 nyms? Go read my Golden Quotes site to see how many nyms I have.
This is one of my oldest nyms. Bob Terwilliger stole my 'Beauty' nym.
Get on his case. Actually 'Vladyka Ticken' aka Bob Terwilliger stole it.
You may enjoy mocking me if you like. Jesus never mocked anyone. He did
castigate the Pharisees though. You mock me? I castigate you. See how it
works? I am allowed to castigate you, and I can with Jesus blessing! You
are neither gracious nor pleasant. "Established communities". That is a
rather sweeping generalization. You contributed to the disruption of
those *two* communities. You blame me. Own your own scat, coyote, and
leave me alone.

Im not even going to try and continue having a pleasant, constructive

I claim points for the "castigate" seed.

You did not seed castigate, Jesus did, and you are arrogant. To think

Christianity in a mocking tone deserves to be mocked, but mocking
others is not allowed, so I won't do that. Go back to your backyard

She meant 'seed' in the sense of teaching you a new word. It's a funny
tic you have, that anytime someone uses a word you're unfamiliar with,
you begin using it back at them, regardless of whether or not you know
what the hell it means. It's very... (hrm...) ...antediluvian.

It is not allowed for Orthodox Christians. My Lord was mocked. I will
not mock others. I will castigate them however, I am most definitely
allowed to do that and I will castigate you, you Pharisee. You are a
straight up Pharisee, huey.callison. Ugly. *shudders*. And not only

how my Lord castigated horrendous Pharisees so I can align myself

years as a Trappist monk and he still considers himself under vows
even though he reentered the world. He is my teacher. You and coyote

Ask him if he has any beer. Those trappist guys, they know an awful lot
about beer. They're like the Beer Monks.

That may be the second time you've made a post with something accurate
in it. But, see, the thing about recognizing trolls on teh intarnetses?
Once you realize someone is trolling you, you might consider NOT
RESPONDING TO THEM.

Wow, and the wheels come off again! Look, lady. I was trying to explain
to you why you are being talked about, and mocked, which you have
repeatedly asked about. I would not presume to explain Christianity to
anyone, except perhaps from a purely historical and secular point of
view. Religion is a personal thing and as such I have no right to be
pushing my views on others.

I was, again, trying to actually have a conversation with you. Wups! My
mistake! Wont try that again. See what I mean about you attacking people
that try to help you? No? What a fucking shocker!

You didnt start using the word "castigate" until I did, so whether or
not Jesus seeded it is totally irrelevant, unless youre claiming to have
the red phone to Him.

Yes, I am arrogant, but I can back it up, unlike you.

How do you know Im an atheist? I never said I was. I could go so far as
to call that a LIE. Delusions again? Reading comprehension issues? You
never change.

I maintain that they have not. Coyote has said as much. I'm not prepared
to read through the accumulated works of Ty and Shirley to discover
their religious prefernces, but a cursory google finds no posts from
either of them this year that use the word 'atheist' in any other
context than a reply to you, in which you call them an atheist.

> You are intellectually lazy. Do your own research.

Look, if you want people to believe your arguments, you have to support
them with facts. It's not my job to support YOUR arguments with facts. I
maintain that not one of them has claimed to be an atheist, and to
refute that, you'd have to provide an example of where they did. That's
not intellectual laziness, that's expecting you to support your own
arguments.

They all alluded to it. Read Ty's conversations with Father Ambrose in
alt.gothic. Read my conversations with Meesoon in
soc.subculture.bondage-bdsm. Coyote has now denied that she is one. You

and sinners who could not be saved. Why do you care about Christianity

So they've never actually said it, then? That's what I thought.

No.

I don't recall coyote bringing up her religion at all, actually, merely
pointing out that whatever your preconceived notions of what her
religion were, they were wrong.

I am not talking about your mother. It's a _metaphor_, see? "I'm gonna
tell Mom!" is analogous to "I'm going to report you to your ISP".

Then don't make unsupported assertions about them with an expectation

I do have the "red phone to Him", its called The Jesus Prayer, "Lord
Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy me on the sinner". You ought to try
it some time. It draws you night onto God.

You are expressing a logical fallacy. I choose not to argue with you
over your atheism. In the eyes of the Orthodox church if you are not a
Christian, you are an atheist. Talk to Priest Theodore (Bobosh) about
that one if I am wrong. He pastors the Church in Dayton, OH and he wrote
a book called Come and See, well he edited it. You can also find him on
the oca.org website.

Very well: I choose not to argue with you over the third arm that
you have growing out of your forehead.

That seems counterintuitive and stupid, given that it's insulting to
moslems, jews, hindi, buddhists, shinto, sikh, baha'i, jains, and
everybody else that isn't Christian. But hey, go on and insult 2/3rds of
the world! I'm sure that's endearing to SOMEBODY...

Not terribly interested in talking to him whether you're wrong or not.

Really, no. ISPs dont cancel people just because someone else doesnt

usually only after the violation has become egregious. I should know, I
work for one.

That would be your interpretation of something that was said, and your
interpretation is not fact. You SPECIFICALLY said "They have stated so
themselves in their own backyard." That goes waaaaaaaaay beyond
allusion. Find the proof of your statement or retract it.

Bob knew huey would come, not you. No, he didn't cancel my ISP. But he
told alt.usage.english that he was going to. And he got it suspended
once before for trolling and off topic posting and violation of the
charter. We went over the charter in your backyard and I was not
violating it. It is partial. Nor was I violating the charter in
alt.gothic. People were trolling me and yet I took the hit for trolling
the group. Alt.gothic is also partial. Whatever. Those are not the
groups for me to socialize in. That anonymous person wanting me to write
for them in your backyard and alt.gothic where I got my account
suspended for trolling and posting off topic reminds me of my ex husband
wanting me to have his baby. They both have an insane desire. I gave my
ex husband what he wanted all right and it made me sick. I gave that
anonymous person what they wanted and it got my ISP suspended. So I left
before I got my ISP canceled. That anonymous person needs to know they
are like my ex husband.

According to your seemingly very narrow-minded Church, perhaps. However,
I still challenge you to find ANY post where I even said I was not
Christian. You cannot go making assertions like that and expect not to
be challenged. You calling me an atheist is as offensive to me as my
calling you a Catholic would be to you. (Which, by the way, I did not do).

Atheist: http://www.answers.com/topic/atheism

a·the·ism (a-'the--i(z'?m) pronunciation
n.

1. Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods.
2. The doctrine that there is no God or gods.

[French athéisme, from athée, atheist, from Greek atheos, godless : a-,

That does not fit my religious beliefs.

Right. But I got suspended for trolling and posting off topic in
alt.gothic when huey admitted to trolling me. So in effect, I got
blamed. I read the charter. I did not violate it. How many people read
the charter? People there did not want to socialize with me. My
anonymous person wanted me to write there for them. Like I said, that
was like my ex husband wanting me to have his baby outside of marriage,
outside of the church, outside of sanity. Writing for that person got my
ISP suspended! Was that the point? Is that the same person that has been
stalking me from group to group trying to silence me, posting my
messages to an anonymous website?

I have only been posting here for a year, I think. I could find the

It would be better to ask them directly. Now Ty has admitted she is an
ordained minister so she is not an atheist and I retract my assertion.
You could go back home and ask Meesoon yourself. I am not allowed in
your backyard so I can not ask her. See how it works?

Fine, I retract my assertion. However in the eyes of "Come and see"
edited by Theodore Bobosh, anyone who is not a Christian is an atheist.
I was an atheist. I am now a Christian. Should I write to Father
Theodore and ask him permission to correspond with him regarding this
conversation? I think I might.

I have retracted my statement that Ty is an atheist. I have not
retracted my statement about you until you admit whether or not you are
a Christian. I have told you where to find the evidence that Shirley is
an atheist. Her father was a Buddhist monk. The OCA and Father Theodore
seem to consider Buddhists atheists. I really shall have to write to
Father Theodore and ask him permission to talk to him about the book he
edited. *sigh*

Look it up. It means are you flooding my network with connection
requests so I can not connect to the Internet.
I have a friend who works in Internet Security so I shall ask her for a
better explanation. It can be researched on the Internet you know. See,
you don't know everything.

Coyote, what do you want from this? Its going nowhere. Its a waste of
time. It is mental masturbation: fruitless.

Perhaps you ought to ask your ISP for clarification on why they
suspended you, then. They clearly thought they had a good reason.

That does not make your behavior there "ok". A reason it might be, but
an excuse it is not.

I prefer asking you to define things than make assumptions as to your
meanings. If you prefer, I wont do that anymore, and will simply assume
I know what you mean and proceed accordingly. Your choice.

Fine if you are a Christian, I apologize and ask your forgiveness. The
path to salvation is narrow and hard and I am on it. Are you? I am
exhausted by our conversation Coyote. What is the point of it? It is
demoralizing to me. I need uplifting not down casting. I may have to
give up again. I do not have the strength to continue this. There are
things that are more important to me than spinning my wheels with you.
I am ready to end this if you are.

Fine Coyote, I fear you contacting my parish priest and my ISP. How's
that? If I get accused of trolling and posting off topic again, and
violating the charter again my ISP might get terminated. I don't have
time for that. I need my ISP for more than Usenet. You don't want me to
socialize on Usenet and you are willing to do anything to get me to
stop. You think I have a social disease.

Yes he did. Someone got it suspended for trolling and posting off topic
in alt.gothic. I was doing neither but I was told that if I violate the
charter it might get terminated. I have been talking to the abuse desk
at my ISP voluntarily to find out what the hell is up and that is what
they told me. As you see, my conduct must be beyond reproach, must be
that of a bishop's matushka and I don't know if I can do it. Truly I
don't. Perhaps the devout Coptic mother might be a better candidate for
this job. I am saddened.

I see that you shouldnt make statements you are unwilling to back up
with facts. If Shirley said what you say she did, you should be able to
find the proof of that fact.

Might be a good idea. You might also want to consider that not everyone
has the same Orthodox world view you have. Do you really think that
Buddhists, etc, are atheists? I guess by your definition they are, but
thats...very, very narrow-minded.

I am not going to do that, so unless you can find proof that I said I
was an atheist, you should retract your statement.

You said it, you find it. Google has archives, use them.

That does seem to be a terribly exclusionary point of view, yes. Saying
that one's belief system is the only valid one in existance is what led
to several wars.

Something that worries me about you, Atlanta, and I mean this in a
totally non-mocking way, is that you seem to be unable to make your own
decisions. You said you enjoy castigating him, so why filter him on
someone else's word?

Atlanta may believe I am an atheist but so far as I can remember she
never asked.

I am not an atheist. I am not a Christian, Jew or Moslem either. My
spiritual beliefs are not up for debate or discussion so I choose to
keep them private.

*snrk* I make my living off of Internet security, so Im quite aware of
what the word "ping" means. It is an ICMP echo request. It can be used
to simply verify an IP is alive and responding, or it can be used to
maliciously attack someone's connection, especially if large packets
over a large pipe are used. DDOS is a violation of almost any ISP's TOS,
however.

It simply made no sense in the context you used it in, as there had been
no previous discussion of networks. Perhaps, next time, you could use
the phrase "Are you pinging my IP?" or better yet, "Are you DDOSing me?"
which would make a heck of a lot more sense.
