HARDCOVER BOOK. "The House Without Windows" by Maurice Sandoz.
Illustrations by
Salvador Dali. William Campion Publishers, London, UK. 1950. First
English language edition. 101 pages. 7 incredible original Dali
watercolor plates unique to this book. Size: c. 7 1/2" x 10".
Some mold/water stains. Cover intact but laminated.

EXHIBIT CATALOG. "Souvenir Catalogue. Julien Levy Gallery, 602 Madison
Avenue" .
Single card stock sheet c. 7 3/4" x 10". Front has unique surreal drawing
of female figure
with drawer for face. Each of the woman's breasts are flaps which open to
reveal a fold-out
catalog of Dali's exhibited works (6 photos under each breast). Back of
card lists 21 exhibited works with the legend "and 12 drawings". Some
stains and tears, rust on the clasps which "lock" the breasts. Date
unknown (1940/50's?). Rare and unusual item.

Includes 3 page introductory text by Dali plus 4 page appendix by Dali
"History of Art, Short but Clear".
Minor wear considering age.

Catalogue compiled and edited by
Philip M Laski. 44 pages. c. 9" x 6 1/2". "1st edition limited to 1500
copies". Signed by Laski. Translation/parallel text/fascimile in
Magritte's own hand of "The Art of Resemblance". Section 1 lists 28
exhibited items with 8 b/w photos (varnished stock). Section 2 has11
pages of "Appreciations of Magritte" by Ande Breton, Max Ernst, Paul
Eluard, Suzi Gablik, Man Ray, Herbert Read, Roland Penrose, Dorothea
Tanning, and others. This section on sepia, fibred stock. Section 3. 8
pages. Bibliography of Magritte, works illustrated by Magritte, articles
and tracts by Magritte, exhibits of Magritte's works, and collections
with Magritte's work represented. This section on blue stock. Some wear
and light staining on front and back cover. Rare and unusual item.

PREVIEW BOOKLET for the Norman Mailer book "Marilyn". Sent to selected
book trade accounts by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, New York, 1972 in
advance of the book's publication. Printed on heavy silver card stock.
Front and back cover are fold-out flaps. Contains 12 actual pages from
the book with short essay by Mailer on inside back flap. 10 1/2" x 10
1/2". Some wear.

MAGAZINE "Avant Garde" Issue # 2, March 1968, New York. Contains 12
serigraph prints in Day-glo ink by Bert Stern from his original photos
taken at the Bel Air Hotel in Hollywood, California, June 21st 1962. c.
11" x 11". Some wear from age and storage.
