I have for sale the 1st edition book "A Picture Postcard History Of
Baseball" by Ron Menchine with Introduction by Ernie Harwell (1992). The
edition contains 133 pages including vintage black and white Postcard
photos (many with player's signature), as well as a biography and history
of each Postcard. Photos include: Lou Gehrig, Ralph Kiner, Jackie Robinson,
Lou Boudreau, Robin Roberts, Curt Simmons, Phil Rizzuto, Whitey Ford,
Harold "Pee Wee" Reese, Bob Lemon, Yogi Berra, George Kell, Harmon
Killebrew, Mickey Mantle, Warren Spahn, Eddie Mathews, Willie Mays, Nellie
Fox, Don Drysdale, Sandy Kofax, plus Postcards of Baseball Players of the
1800's, Major League Baseball Stadiums and Parks, Announcers, and much
more. The front cover features action photographs of New York Yankee Casey
Stengel, and Brooklyn Dodger Gil Hodges.
