I am submitting this revised timeline, incorporating information
included in both the version submitted by Catherine Yronwode and
Trisktras, contrasting and attempting to eliminate the editorial bias
of both versions to arrive at an impartial and objective rendering.

Timeline of the Golden Dawn Conflict

1981
Chic Cicero allegedly charged with discharging a firearm within city
limits, Muscogee County, GA.; data supplied by many; appears to be
true. (Case 43488, filed 2/3/81) (submitted by Catharine Yronwode)

1982
Cris Monnastre allegedly approaches Chic Cicero and Larry Epperson and
invites them to begin to work together with her. This association
becomes the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Cicero files letters of
incorporation in 1988. (submitted by Trisktras)

1983
Chic Cicero allegedly charged with wife beating/assault with a deadly
weapon, Muskogee County, GA; data supplied by many; appears to be
true. (Case 47626X, aggravated assault, filed 8/31/83) (submitted by
Catharine Yronwode)

January, 1994
Cris Monnastre, Praemonstratix General of HOGD, allegedly leaves Chic
Cicero's home with David Griffin after an argument with Cciero. Upon
returning to Los Angeles, the Northridge earthquake hits. Co-chiefs
Chic Cicero and Larry Epperson allegedly "resign" GH Soror MdA (Cris
Monnastre) by telling the order that she "resigned."
Monnastre the order with two new Chiefs. David Griffin becomes the
Imperator of Monnastre’s HOGD.
(submitted by anon user Trisktras)
This schism appears to be the root of the entire conflict. (Comment by
Mira Beline.)

February, 1994
David Griffin founds the Isis-Nut temple in Stockholm and registers
the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn trademark in Sweden. He
immediately afterwards uses this trademark as the basis to register
the same trademark in the newly created OHIM trademark office for the
entire European Union. (submitted by Trisktras)

March, 1995
Chic Cicero files to register the HOGD trademark in the USA. Cris
Monnastre and Griffin hire Stewart MacKenzie, the attorney who won the
Marcello Motta vs. OTO case to defend their interests and file formal
opposition to Cicero's trademark application. Cicero and Babwahsing
allegedly begin anonymously publishing Nazi rumors about Griffin on
the internet. Cicero's alleged involvement with the New Jersey,
Cavalcanti crime family, strip clubs, and pimping are also exposed to
the public for the first time.
(submitted by Trisktras)

1994-1996
Anonymous usenet posters cite links to rabidly anti-Griffin web
pages, filled with slanderous statements. Meanwhile, other anonymous
usenet posters publish details shaming and damaging to the reputations
of
Chic and Tabatha Cicero. All these posts seem to be backlash from
the HOGD trademark conflict. (Submitted by Cathrine Yronwode).

March 1996
The HOGD trademark conflict is settled. Cicero, Griffin, and Monnastre
sign an agreement to share the "Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn"
trademark on a world-wide basis. Cicero gains partial ownership of the
mark in Europe. Griffin-Monnastre gain partial ownership of the mark
in the USA. Griffin and Monnastre, upon reaching this agreement with
Cicero, withdraw their trademark opposition.
(submitted by Trisktras)

1997
Griffin and Monnastre, together with the Ahathoor Temple No. 7 in
Paris, the August Order of the Mystic Rose, and a temple in South
America form an international Conferation of the Hermetic Order of the
Golden Dawn.
(submitted by Trisktras)

Carroll "Poke" Runyon publishes "Secrets of the Golden Dawn Cypher
Manuscript" with foreword by Pat Zalewski and afterword by R. A.
Gilbert.
(submitted by Catharine Yronwode)

At a Golden Dawn conference in the UK, R. A. Gilbert delivers a paper
allegedly savaging the history and reputation of the Societas
Rosicruciana in America, an order that had been moribund owing to a
court dispute among senior members concerned with a land deal that had
gone wrong under the Imperatrix Lucia Grolsch. The SRIAmerica was
later revived by a member, and new Imperatrix, Soror Maria, and
continues to exist" -- says anonymous poster ANON Jean.
(submitted by Catharine Yronwode)

SRIA (America) Imperatrix, Sister Lucia Grosch, is sued by Frank
Modica over a land deal gone sour. Destitute, she Grosch forced to
accept money from Maria Babwahsing to settle the suit. The transfer
of power from Grosch to Babwahsing is alleged to have occurred under
both financial and physical coercion. (submitted by Trisktras, but
toned down by Mira Beline.)

1999
The Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega and its outer order the
Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn proclaim the Reformatio
Fraternitatis, Anno 1999, moving all published Golden Dawn material to
the outer order and replacing this material with a new Second Order
curriculum derived entirely from confidential, pre-Golden Dawn
Rosicrucian and Hermetic esoteric transmissions.
(submitted by Trisktras)

Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn publishing releases David Griffin's
landmark work, The Ritual Magic Manual. In this work, Griffin follows
the same lines of synthesis employed by Mathers for elemental magic
uniting the Qabalistic and Enochian systems and achieves the same
integration for Planetary and Zodiacal magick. Griffin's work makes
the magick of the R.R. et A.C. easy to practice for the first time.
(submitted by Trisktras)

2002
The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, under Griffin's leadership,
opens the Harparkrat Cyber Temple, making the HOGD system available
for students living in outlying areas for the first time, yet
preserving the sanctity of physical initiations in real temples.
(submitted by Trisktras)

In October, 2002, Griffin and other HOGD/A+O leaders allegedly meet in
Paris with representatives of the Continental European Hermetic and
Rosicrucian secret alchemical society alleged to have given the Cypher
manuscripts to Kenneth MacKenzie with with the HOGD was created and
the material for the RR et AC to S.L. MacGregor Mathers. Mathers
referred to these Continental Adepts, this "source of origin" of the
original Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn as the "Secret Chiefs."
Representatives of this order allegedly give Griffin the rituals and
the esoteric teachings that had been intended for the "Third Order" of
the original, Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
(submitted by Trisktras)

Chic Cicero, allegedly breaks his agreement with Griffin not to
initiate each other's students by initiating HOGD/A+O member, Mark
Griggs. Griffin breaks off all contact with Cicero. Cicero allegedly
begins to tortuously interfere in the internal affairs of HOGD/A+O by
offering advanced grades and trademark licenses to anyone willing to
cross over and foment schism.
(submitted by Trisktras)

2003
The Open Source Order of the Golden Dawn is founded by a group of
individuals alleged on Wikipedia to be “Satanists.” (submitted by
Trisktras)
Catheriine Yronwode disputes this, claiming that OSOGD leaders are
more like “Buddhists,” yet confirms that her husband is a self-avowed,
Satanist belongs to the OSOGD. Chic Cicero allegedly “certifies” this
group. (comments by Mira Beline)

According to court documents, Chic Cicero, due to inappropriate
statements on the trademark page of his website, allegedly “solicits
trademark infringement” and to "nakedly license" a host of self-
initiation, astral initiation, and allegedly “Satanist” groups to use
the "Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn" trademark. (“Naked licensing”
is a legal term that means improperly granting use of a trademark to a
third party without the supervision and control required by law.
(submitted by Trisktras, but amended by Mira Beline for objectivity
and supporting arguments according to court documents.)

2005
Cicero breaches his contract with Griffin and files a frivolous
lawsuit in U.S. Federal Court against Griffin. Griffin's HOGD
interests are represented by Florida attorney, Jorge Hevia III.
(submitted by Trisktras. Toned down by Mira Beline).

2006
Griffin's HOGD temples in US see many members decamp to Cicero's HOGD,
says ANON Jean (submitted by Catherine Yronwode)
This is disputed by Griffin HOGD/A+O member, Soror MDLL (Leigh-Ann
Grace Bachmann) who claims that the international HOGD/A+O is larger
than ever before and that she personally tutors students from three
continents. It does, however, support the allegation made by Trisktras
above, claiming that Cicero was tortuously interfering in Griffin’s
order by offering advanced grades and trademark licenses to those
willing to cross over to Cicero’s order and in exchange for fomenting
schism. (Comment from Mira Beline.)

2005-2007
Renewed defamatory posting on usenet. Anonymous usenet posters cite
links to rabidly anti-Griffin web pages, filled with slanderous
statements. Meanwhile, other anonymous usenet posters cite links to
sites publishing details shaming and damaging to the reputations of
Chic and Tabatha Cicero. This defamation appears to be a backlash from
the HOGD trademark lawsuit. (submitted by Catherine Yronwode)

January, 17 2007

There seems to be some disagreement as to exactly who lost the HOGD
trademark lawsuit. In reality, noone “won” the case as it never went
to trial. Instead a settlement was reached and the claims and counter-
claims of both sides were dismissed with prejudice. (Commentary from
Mara Belings)

Catherine Yronwode alleges:

“Griffin loses lawsuit to Cicero over the use of HOGD name in America,
then relocates in Germany, according to ANON Jean (date supplied by
ANON Asiya)

Griffin’s order, contrary to the above assertion, still calls itself
the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn on its web site. Moreover, the
legal statement on their website claims that they “victoriously
preserved the right to use the name of thief outer order, the Hermetic
Order of the Golden Dawn, without further interference in the
USA.” (Commentary from Mara Belings).

Trisktras alleges as follows:

“Cicero settles litigation with Griffin, caving in and basically
giving Griffin everything that he wanted, including the permanent
right to call his outer order the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in
the USA. There are several reasons why Cicero caved in so badly. The
first is that Griffin had managed for all intents and purposes to
bankrupt Cicero with his his attorney's scorched earth legal strategy,
forcing Cicero to reply to 115 filings that were made during the case.
Moreover, only weeks before the scheduled trial, Cicero found that he
had painted himself into a legal corner. On the one hand, Cicero faced
at least a 90% chance of haiing his USA trademark cancelled by the
judge if the case went to trial for the following reasons:
1. Cicero and his order were clearly not the "source of origin" of the
Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. (His attorneys had been silly
enough to argue that they were in their early filings, thus
inadvertently setting Cicero up for a fall.)
2. Cicero was clearly guilty of soliciting infringement of the mark on
his website. This alone was grounds enough for the mark to be
cancelled.
3. Cicero was guilty of "naked" licensing, which means licensing third
parties to use the trademark without proper supervision and control.
His website announcements made this easy to prove as well. This also
in itself would have been sufficient grounds for the judge to cancel
the mark should the case have gone to trial as well.
On the other hand, it had become increasingly clear that, even in a
best case scenario, should Cicero by some miracle of fate have won a
judgement against Griffin for trademark infringement in the USA, this
would have in itself been grounds for Griffin to obtain a similar
judgement against Cicero for his infringing on Griffin's trademark of
the same name in Europe. Thus, caught in a lose-lose situation, Cicero
caved in and gave Griffin everything he wanted in order not to get his
trademark cancelled in trial.
My basis of this analysis is a careful reading of all of the court
documents available online through the US Federal court's Pacer
system which I downloaded. Hevia's scorched earth policy is
reprehensible though not unethical. But then again, Cicero did not
comply with an existing contract. At the same time, Griffin's
advantage is that his EU trademark does not have to follow these same
"source of origin" requirements.
(submitted by Trisktras).
__________________________

Whereas the conclusion of of Catherine Yronwode appears inaccurate,
statements by Trisktras appear to be generally accurate according to
an independent examination of the relevant court documents downloaded
from Pacer. However, it is clear that neither side “won” the case as
both sides apparently claim, since the case never went to trial, but
rather a “confidential settlement agreement” was reached that remains
under the “perpetual jurisdiction or the court to enforce upon motion
from either party on an equal basis.”

The confidentiality provision pf the agreement presently obscures a
full discosure of the relevant facts regarding the actual outcome of
the case. It appears certain, however, that Griffin fully retains the
right to call his order the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. This is
supported by legal statements at www.golden-dawn.com and born out by
the fact that the order is still calling its outer order the Hermetic
Order of the Golden Dawn, even in the USA. (Submitted by Mara
Belings.)

February, 2007
Cicero's claims against Griffin and Griffin's counter claims against
Cicero are dismissed with prejudice on an equal basis by the judge.
Within hours, Griffin announces on the HOGD’s Yahoo forum that his
order is in possession of the entire Third Order transmission
originally intended for the original HOGD, and that its curriculum
includes the sexual practices of Hermetic Inner Alchemy and Alchemical
Theurgy, that had been obtained by GD founder, S.L. MacGregor Mathers
from the Continental European "source of origin" of the original
Golden Dawn.(Continental Adepts called Secret Chiefs by Mathers)
(submitted by Trisktras).

It appears that Griffin was just waiting for the litigation to be
settled to unleash the above bombshell. With this move, Griffin has
placed the other “Golden Dawn” orders in a situation where it appears
that the HOGD/A+O teaches the entire Three Order system, including
Hermetic Inner Alchemy and Sexual Magick, whereas the other orders
have only the material published by Regardie to offer, which ends at
the 5=6 level. From my perspective, this is the true reason for much
of the invective against Griffin following the settlement of the HOGD,
Inc. vs. HOGD/A+O litigation. (Submitted by Mira Beline).

May, 2007

The validity of "Golden Dawn Lineage" claims made on Chic Cicero's
HOGD and Maria Babwahsiing's SRIA websites are challenged. Prominent
Golden Dawn historian Anthony Fleming (pseudonymous with HOGD, Inc.
Principal Board Director, Tony Fuller) publicly disputes these claims,
in the absence of supporting evidence. Until the present, no such
evidence is forthcoming.
(submitted by Trisktras, but toned down for objectivity by Mara
Belings)

As a result of this “Golden Dawn Lineage” dispute, anonymous posters
once again defame both Griffin and Cicero on the Usenet as well as on
linked

Immediately following the above disclosure, a renewed round of
anonymous posts appear on usenet defaming both Griffin and the
Ciceros, apparently as a backlash over the SRIA/GD ‘lineage’ dispute
(submitted by Mara Belings toning down statements made by Trisktras to
make them more objective).

Mira Beline,

Your time line integrating Cat Yronwode's and the other one that she
ignored seems to have created a far more objective, balanced, and
unbiased result than Cat's. I also noticed that Cat's version has some
pretty biased biographies and descriptions of groups as well. I have
therefore created the following alternate version and have asked Cat
to integrate it with the previous material in her programme booklet.
If she fails to do so, it will clearly demonstrate that she is not
really interested in an objective rendering but rather is pushing a
particular agenda. At this point, you seem like a more fair and
impartial arbitrator than Cat does. I am therefore asking you to do
with the biographies and group descriptions what you did with the time
line, provided that Cat doesn't do that first or doesn't twist things
around.

I. Persons
Babwasigh, Maria

turning over control of SRIAm to Babwahsing. Sued Wang Li, Dale
Buchholz, Ralph Fytton, and Robert Word for libel, but failed to
obtain a favorable judgement. Makes false "Golden Dawn Lineage" claims
on her sria.org website that have been refuted by noted Golden Dawn
historian and fellow Cicero HOGD, Inc. Board Member, Tony Fuller (aka
Anthony Fleming) and others. Alleged ties with New Jersey's Cavalcanti
crime family.

1-10 through 5=6 by Larry Epperson (a/k/a Adam Forrest). Criminal
record, including one open warrant in Georgia, for GBH and assault
with a deadly weapon upon ex-wife Eva Marie Cicero. Fled Georgia in
1986 to avoid further prosecution. Awarded Bad Conduct Discharge from

Cicero's website in the Feather of Maat I, since removed)" through a
bogus charter allegedly issued in 1997 by the Lucia Grosch/Babwahsing
SRIA (America), more properly Soc. Ros. in America since this
organization is not affiliated with SRIA (Anglia). Additionally
refuted the outrageous "Golden Dawn Lineage" claims of Grosch/
Babwahsing's SRIA.

Gilbert, R.A.
Noted Golden Dawn scholar and contracted antiquarian of Maria
Babwahsing. Amassed a small fortune trafficking in Golden Dawn
documents, mostly sold to Babwahsing, thus biased in all matters
concerning the Cicero/Babwahsing Golden Dawn faction. Argues in his
published works that there never was any valid Golden Dawn lineage and
that the Golden Dawn was founded on a fraud perpetrated by W.Wynn
Wescott.

Griffin, David

(RR et AC) material profaned by publication by Aleister Crowley and
Israel Regardie to the A+O's outer order, the Hermetic Order of the
Golden Dawn, making traditional RR+AC magick immediately available to A
+O's beginning students. Prepared a new, unpublished RR+AC curriculum,
derived entirely from confidential Hermetic and Rosicrucian
transmissions.
In 2002, reestablished contact with the Continental European "source
of origin" of the original HOGD, obtaining the esoteric transmission
originally intended for the Third Order of the original HOGD,
comprising the grades of Magister Templi (8=3), Magus (9=2), and
Ipsissimus (10=1). Includes the sexual teachings of Hermetic Inner
Alchemy and Alchemical Theurgy originally taught by S.L. MacGregor
Mathers (obtained by Mathers from the Contintental European "Secret
Chiefs of the Third Order" in Paris). Under Griffin's leadership,
Mathers' A+O has become the only order ever to teach and initiate in
all of the grades of the entire three order system originally intended
for the original HOGD, from Neophyte through Ipsissimus.

Hevia, Jorge III

II. Organizations

August Order of the Mystic Rose

The August Order of the Mystic Rose is formally affiliated with the
Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the outer order of the Rosicrucian
Order of Alpha et Omega® and has established full international
recognition and reciprocity with A+O temples world-wide. In addition
to holding the affiliations of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn,
the AOMR additionally holds significant additional Hermetic,
Rosicrucian, and Gnostic affiliations and esoteric transmissions.
According to its web site, "the August Order of the Mystic Rose is a
modern link in the ancient chain of mystic studies known as the Secret
Doctrine, which has been handed down since time immemorial in the
instituted Temples of the Mysteries."

Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn®, outer order of the Rosicrucian
Order of Alpha et Omega®
The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn is the First Order of the
Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega®, founded in Paris, France by S.L.
MacGregor Mathers in 1906. The Alpha et Omega today holds the
distinction of being the only order that offers physical initiation
and teaching in the entire three order system originally conceived for
the original Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, from the 0=0 grade of
Neophyte through the 10=1 grade of Ipsissimus.
Unlike in other "Golden Dawn" orders, students of the Alpha et Omega
begin to practice magick immediately upon entering its First Order,
the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, then work a secret, magical and
alchemical curriculum in its Second Order, the RR+AC, derived entirely
from unpublished Hermetic and Rosicrucian esoteric transmissions. The
Alpha et Omega picks up where other groups leave off, as the only
Hermetic or Rosicrucian order with a secret, Second Order curriculum
going far beyond well known, published material. The Alpha et Omega's
exclusive Third Order curriculum, comprising the grades of Magister
Templi, Magus, and Ipssissimus, includes the sexual mysteries of
Hermetic "Inner" Alchemy, and Alchemical Theurgy; originally obtained
by founder, S.L. MacGregor Mathers from the Secret Chiefs in Paris and
that have at all times comprised the highest teachings of the Hermetic
as well as of the Rosicrucian traditions
Although the Rosicrucian Order Alpha et Omega has always been based in
Europe, it nonetheless operates a world wide network of temples of its
outer order, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, including in the
United States and Canada. The HOGD/A+O exclusively performs physical
initiations in real temples. The Alpha et Omega condemns the dubious,
non-traditional "self" and purely "astral" initiation being advocated
and practiced elsewhere.

Hermetic Order of the Morning Star, dba Esoteric Order of the Golden
Dawn
The Hermetic Order of the Morning Star, doing business as the
"Esoteric" Order of the Golden Dawn, is the primary advocate and
practitioner of dubious, purely "Astral" initiation and is led by
known sexual predator Robert Zink, who introduced the non-traditional
practices of blood sacrifice, the ritual scarring and flogging of
candidates, and certain black magical rites into his order. Zink's
EOGD nonetheless preys on an unsuspecting public by improperly
marketing itself as: "Faithful to the classical traditional Golden
Dawn tradition" and even as "Guardians of the True Golden Dawn."
Robert Zink is known to have sexually abused and impregnated the
underage daughter of one of his order members. The EOGD sells an
expensive correspondence course that consists primarily of public
domain, original HOGD materials published by Regardie that Robert Zink
has improperly attempted to copyright. The entire content of an
original version of EOGD's correspondence course has been made
available to download free from the internet by one of its original
compilers. Robert Zink's order was formerly known as the Hermetic
Order of the Morning Star, Inc. (HOMSI) (1997-2003), as the Hermetic
Order of the Golden Dawn, Intl. (HOGDI) (1993-1997), as the Eternal
Golden Dawn (EGD) (1991-1993), and as the Eternal Circle of Light
(ECL) (1987?-1991).

Open Source Order of the Golden Dawn

The Open Source Order of the Golden Dawn is a local study group based
in Richmond, California using original HOGD and Stella Matutina
materials published by Israel Regardie diluted with the Thelemic
teachings of Aleister Crowley. The group is led by Samuel Webster and
its Imperator, Joseph Max, who operates a Yahoo group largely
dedicated to defaming and disparaging the Hermetic Order of the Golden
Dawn, the outer order of the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega®. The
OSOGD Imperator advocates the profanation of all Hermetic and
Rosicrucian mysteries, arguing that esoteric secrets should be proven
by publication on the internet and made available for free
distribution like the 'Open Source' code of computer programmers. The
Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega recently took issue with OSOGD's
advocacy of profanation. In response, OSOGD's Imperator wrote: "It
matters not if anyone agrees or not. It will happen. Welcome to the
Information Age."

Ordre Rosicrucien de l'Alpha Et Omega®
The "Ordre Rosicrucien de l'Alpha Et Omega®" is presided over in
France by Jean-Pascal Ruggiu, the present Imperator of the Ahathoor
Temple No. 7, of Paris, France, The Ahathoor Temple was founded in
Paris by S.L. MacGregor Mathers in 1893. In addition to its multiple
affiliations of L'Ordre Hermétique de l'Aube Dorée®, the Ahathoor
Temple additionally possesses a plethora of other substantial
Rosicrucian and Hermetic affiliations and esoteric transmissions. Jean-
Pascal Ruggiu has been hailed by many as a modern Eliphas Levi and is
one of the most important Hermetic and Rosicrucian occultists of our
time. The "Ordre Rosicrucien de l'Alpha Et Omega®" is the exclusive
French jurisdiction the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the outer
order of the Rosicrucian Order of Alpha et Omega®.

Sociatas Rosicruciana in America
The Soc. Ros. in America is an irregular Sociatas Rosicruciana that
was founded by George Plummer. Plummer attempted to gain recognition
and regularity for the Soc. Ros. in America from the Sociatas
Rosicruciana in Anglia and corresponded briefly in this regard with W.
Wynn Wescott. Soc. Ros. in Anglia, however, rebuffed the Soc. Ros. in
America as it already had agreements with the Freemasonic S.R.I.C.F.,
granting the latter exclusive regularity and recognition in the USA.
Soc. Ros. in America eventually managed to get a Rosicrucian charter
from the Quakertown Rosicrucians descending from Pascal Beverly
Randolph. Aleister Crowley was appointed to the Soc. Ros. in America's
board of directors and the Society began to work an odd version of
Golden Dawn ritual cobbled together from Crowley's Equnox. The group
was presided over by "Sister Lucia" Grosch in the 1990s. Any lineal
affiliation that the group may have ever enjoyed ended when Grosch
dissolved the high council of the order in the 1980's. Grosch was sued
by Frank Modica in the 1990's in a suit that bankrupted Grosch over a
land deal gone bad. Destitute, Grosch was obliged to accept financial
assistance from Maria Babwahsing in order to settle the suit, in
exchange for handing over the leadership of the order to Babwahsing.
Under the leadership of Maria Babwahsing, the Soc. Ros. in America has
made a number of false and unsubstantiated lineage on its sria.org
website. These have recently been debunked by noted Golden Dawn
scholar and Cicero HOGD, Inc. Board member, Tony Fuller (aka Anthony
Fleming).

Stella Matutina Order of the Golden Dawn
The so-called, Stella Matutina Order of the Golden Dawn is a "self
initiation" study group that was founded by Mark Griggs, an expelled
former member of the HOGD/A+O. The study group is an extension of
Griggs' Yahoo! club, the "Magical Working Group."

The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Inc.®
The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, Inc. is an irregular Golden
Dawn order, presided over by Charles "Chic" Cicero, the former
proprietor of the "Shady Lady Lounge" strip club. Cicero, who only has
a 10th grade education, is alleged to have physically abused his
former wife, Eva Marie Cicero, and to still have links with the New
Jersey, Cavalcanti crime family. HOGD, Inc. was founded in 1982, when
Cris Monnastre invited Chic Cicero and Larry Epperson to form a triad
of Chiefs with her, and to constitute a chapter of the Hermetic Order
of the Golden Dawn in the USA. Cicero filed articles of incorporation
in 1988. There was a schism between Monnastre and Cicero in 1994,
allegedly provoked by an argument over pizza. HOGD, Inc., under the
leadership of Cicero has a long history of highly aggressive, although
equally ineffectual litigation. HOGD, Inc. vs. Wang Li, Dale Bucholz,
Robert Word, and Ralph Fytton, a libel suit filed by HOGD, Inc. was
dismissed with prejudice after a settlement agreement was reached.
HOGD, Inc. vs. HOGD/A+O, a trademark suit instigated by Cicero was
equally ineffectual. A settlement was recently reached in which HOGD,
Inc. agreed never to interfere in the affairs of HOGD/A+O again.

Whare Atua Temple
The Whare Atua research temple presently operates in New Zealand,
where Dr. Robert William Felkin established the Smaragdum Thalasses
Temple of the Stella Matutina in 1912, which later became known by the
Maori name of Whare Ra or "the House of the Sun." The present "Whare
Atua" temple, presided over by Jean de Cabalis, similarly means "House
of the Gods." Jean de Cabalis, former student of the late Frank Salt
of Whare Ra, is the present Chief of the Whare Atua temple. Frank Salt
joined the Order of the Golden Dawn (Stella Matutina) in 1936 and
progressed through all its grades obtaining the level of Adeptus
Exemptus (7=4) as well as holding the offices of Hierophant,
Cancellarius and Demonstrator (Praemonstrator) of Whare Ra. Whare Atua
Temple holds multiple lineal affiliations and esoteric transmissions
from various sources, and is formally affiliated with the Hermetic
Order of the Golden Dawn, the outer order of the Rosicrucian Order of
Alpha et Omega®.

I have not "ignored" any contributions to my work. I have been away
from my computer for several days.

No one is writing this doicument but me.

I have about 35 pieces of text to integrate before i publish my next
revsision, later this week.

I encourage each contributor, whether ANONYMOUS or actual, to speak his
or her mind. Howev er, the posts made by ANONYMOUS people such as
yourself carry far less weight than posts made by people who use their
own names. This will become very apparent in the finished version, to be
completed by May 31st.

If you want your comments treated seriously, sign your name. Otherwise
your comments will simply be regarded as parenthetical.

Thank you for your contributions. I will summarize them as i have many
other lengthy posts by ANONYMOUS contributors and they will be rendered
parenthetically.

Sorry, the project i am writing is not a collective or group effort.
Treating it as such when it has obviously NOT is the mark of a certain
group of ANONYMOUS participants, trying to spin things in a biased
direction.

I will continue to collect material, but remember, all material
submitted by ANONYMOUS posters will be related to parenthetical status.

Thanks for your attempted contributions. I have logged them and will
condense them to usable length. In the future, please try to be more
concise and to use less loaded language.

Also, please be aware that the Golden Dawn / Rosicrucian Programme
Booklet" is not a group effort and will not become one.
