Mentalists and their predictions for the new year...

Before all kind of crazies start making predictions for the new year, I
like to match up with their predictions from the PREVIOUS year:
Paul Alberstat:
RIGHT:Gerald Ford died
WRONG: Kirk Douglas, Zsa Zsa Gabor, and Jerry Lewis didn't die. (though
Joe Barbera did die in my death pool though), Saddam Hussein will not
be executed, as there is not enough evidence to execute him.
Sylvia Browne:
RIGHT:There will not be a world-wide avian flu pandemic.
WRONG:Bruce Willis marries a very young woman.Jennifer Aniston also
gets married.Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be re-elected.
Kim Dennis:
RIGHT: Saddam Hussein will be found guilty and executed
WRONG: too vague to determine
What did I learn...ok, So in order to have good predictions, you have
to have a good null hypothesis and vagueness. Let me try this, and
hold me to it for next year. I need to throw in a few famous people to
make it credible too :
-----------------> I predict there may or may not be a global conflict
with Iran or North Korea. Scientists will have a new break through in
medicine. Prince Harry will be sent to the middle east next year, but
will be out of significant harms way. Al Jaffe will not die in my death
pool again this year, but Fidel Castro will, however; like the movie
"Weekend at Bernie's" the Cuban goverment will try to keep him alive
throughout 2008. Someone or multiple people around the world will shit
their pants while they are very drunk. Another celebrity home made
porno will 'accidently' be released worldwide.

Someone you haven't heard from in a long time will pick up the phone to
call you but they may change their mind at the last moment. I see travel
in your future. Your health will take a slight turn for the worse but if
you follow the doctors' instructions you will recover nicely. I see many
romantic prospects for you in the upcoming year, some will be too shy to
come forward so you will have to be the initiator. I don't see you
winning the lottery but you do have a sum of money in your future for
this year.

if only locally. There will be a great new technological device
released. Tensions in the middle East will escalate but the new
violence will bring about new peace talks. Time Magazine's "Person of
the Year" will not actually be a person.

My predictions: (No offense to anyone, just good fun here).
1) Yankees will be in the playoffs in 2007, but will NOT win the World

4) Property taxes will rise again in the US.
5) Donald Trump will sue Rosie O'Donell and win.
6) Your boss will contemplate giving you a good raise by April Fools's Day,
but will change their mind.
7) There will be violence in Iraq.
8) A person or multiple people will add George W. Bush to their shit list.
9) A long lost friend will think about you, but not know how to contact you.
10) Someone will invent a time machine, but will travel back to 1907, and
we'll have to wait another 100 years.(doh!!)

terrorist attack this year...sometime after September. God told him
this. Why doesn't God ever reveal lottery numbers?
