There's been a lot of discussion on the P&T bullet
trick lately, and one of the individuals who posted
a response said that P&T would never fire a live
round in a crowded theatre (local safety officials
would never permit it, and if they did, P&T would
never get insurance).

Recently I saw an awful show on television called
WOW (or something like that). A trick shot bow
artist fired arrows from standard bows and
crossbows. Some shots were even done blindfolded.

They were real arrows, fired in a theatre full of
people. In one case, he fired a crossbow round
to shoot an apple off the head of a woman. In
another case, he shot an arrow blindfolded at a
balloon held over the head of a woman.

It sort of begs the question of whether or not
P&T could really fire a bullet on stage, doesn't
it? I haven't thought to contact any theatrical
agents to see if such a thing is possible, but
it seems as though there must be legal loopholes
to permit it if this guy is allowed to shoot arrows.

1. an arrow is not the same as a bullet!

2. the person was NOT trying to CATCH the arrow!
