rather than external PDM or no PDM at all.

If the base price of a machine is $90K, with about $15K in options (rigid tapping, larger carousel, renishaw, programmable coolant, etc), how much wiggle room is there in the bottom-line price?
How does one gracefully, visavis combattively, negotiate a discount?... more »

Truly, a bargain at twice the price. A dolla a pound on heavy machinery is, like, a HF price... :)
Affordable cnc stuff is, like, $6-$10/lb, but then not for fifteen million of them... so I guess volume discounts apply....... more »
