Standard-Dateimanager für Firefox

Weiß jemand, wie man den Standard-Dateimanager für Firefox ändern kann?
Nervt mich übrigens auch bei diesem Geräteerkennungsapplet (in der
Kontrollleiste). Es kommt immer Nautilus (Gnome). Der arbeitet aber nicht
optimal mit KDE zusammen.

Hallo Matthias,

ich weiß zwar nicht, aus was Firefox reagiert. Aber das
Geräteerkennungsapplet reagiert bei mir auf die Einstellung
in "Systemeinstellungen - Standard-Komponenten - Datei-Manager". Seit dem
ich dort "Konqueror" eingestellt habe, wird auch "Konqueror" anstelle von
"Dolphin" verwendet.

Wirkt sich leider nicht auf das Verhalten von Firefox und der
Geräteüberwachung aus.

Ich vermute mal:
Wenn man im "Downloads"-Fenster auf den Knopf "Beinhaltenden Ordner
anzeigen" (oder so ähnlich) klickt wird ein Nautilus gestartet - hier hätte
er gerne den dolphin bzw. konqueror.

For the open containing folder problem, in
/home/your-user-name/.local/share/applications, create a text file and
name it defaults.list (if it already exists then edit it), then open it
with a text editor and put this text in it:

[Default Applications]
x-directory/normal=kde4-dolphin.desktop;kde4-kfmclient_dir.desktop;

(leave a blank line at the end), then save the file.

Q: Thanks that works! what is the change that made this happen? why do i
must create defaults.list? it wasn't exist before.

The problem is that Firefox, being a GTK app, doesn't respect file types
associations in the DE it's running in. So in KDE4 the default file
manager is Dolphin but firefox doesn't see that, it examines
/usr/share/applications/defaults.list (which is a static file and
doesn't change except when the shared-mime-info package is updated), and
/usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache (which is a dynamic file, it
changes every time you install/uninstall a package with a .desktop file
that has a MimeType entry).

Now if you check /usr/share/applications/mimeinfo.cache, I think you'll
find:
x-directory/normal=easytag.desktop;
with other .desktop files listed on that line.
So easytag becomes the app Firefox will launch when you select "open
containing folder".

That fix is permanent, i.e. it will/should survive a clean install, an
upgrade.... etc, as long as you're using the same /home folder

What's the equivalent for starting konqueror (KDE3)?

Where does the easytag come from? And when is this mimeinfo.cache updated?

Das weiss ich nicht. So Etwas (gleichgultiges?)

Der Fehler war in Mandriva. Dort haben wir easytag erhalten als
Dateimanager, weil es darauf manuell ft später installiert ist (manuell)
Und dann gewinnt ;-) Das war nicht so klar, verzeihung. Für Sie ist es
Nautilus.

Wahrscheinlich (wenn ich mir die verfügbaren Desktop-Dateien
in/usr/share/applications anschau):

x-directory/normal=kfmclient.desktop;kfmclient_dir.desktop;
