Not a problem. We all get quiet as churchmice around here.
Hey! - I missed you. It's been too quiet here.
I like furry dragons...

Welcome back to a usenet excercize in Group Think.
Yay!
*purr*
*TYPES LOUDER*
I still have lots of questions.
hmmm, afraid I don't know what to make of that... loud typing... loud
typing... old keyboard?
Do furry forest dragons purr? What prompts purring?
has to be some sort of activity to qualify as "think", much less group
think...

I prefer to jump to conclusions.
Having just got Solaris running on my Sun Blade I have some idea of your
trials.
I have a question that's not too furry: does anybody know of a free news
server? Like critter.net only for regular NGs. I did a net search but
all the ones listed were either off line or didn't get any new messages.
I know about the pay ones but I don't need gigabytes of bandwidth or
SSL connections (wonder what that's needed for), I just want to read
newsgroups.
To paraphrase Dire Straits:

Good, good, good vibrations!
so do we all, so do we all...
* are we there yet?
* how long do I cook it?
* tell me why
- the stars do shine
- the ivy twines
- the sky is so blue
* who was that masked man?
* where is the remote?
* why did you leave?
Why not? They're cheap on the used market and I've done a lot of work
on Suns. A five year old machine isn't going to set anything on fire,
but a 64 bit USII is still a decent processor.

Thank you for the info. motzarilla seems to be off line, but the German one
might work out though it doesn't look like they allow posting.

Motzarilla OL?

Up now.
Datemas & motz require registration to psot...its free tho.

FYI
HTH
I like Brazil too.
Let's see...
We'll get there when we get there.
Till it's done, and not a minute longer.
-the stars shine for the same reason the sun does, each of them is a
mass of incandescent gas, a gigantic nuclear furnace, where hydrogen is
built into helium at a temperature of millions of degrees. For more
info see the They Might Be Giants song Why Does the Son Shine?
-Ivy twines around what it can because if it used elmers school paste it
would fall off in winter.
-The sky isn't blue, the part of the continuous rainbow you see during
the day is the blue part. You will notice when the day is beginning or
ending the sky starts at black then becomes red then orange there is a
bit of green and then it stabilizes in blue, with the reverse at sunset.
Zorro!
Between the couch cushions or in the kitchen, depending on which remote
you mean.
It was time.
I may now re-lurk, I'm not sure. Hope you like the answers now. When I
was a kid we had to walk 5 miles uphill in 6 feet of snow just to get 1
answer!
