I really don't get why any non-white person would be a Christian, especially
in this day and age. Especially, black people. Why would you adopt the
religion of people that enslaved your past generations? I could see back
when you were slaves to maybe placate or mollify conditions by accepting
what your owner professed to believe in. By why would anyone now?
Notwithstanding jail house conversions (to appear repent and redeemed), but
speaking of just the average black person or person of color.. Why accept
that some Jewish guy who lived 2,000 years ago and rebelled against
authority (the Jewish authority and Roman), why would someone today proclaim
that is their God?

I get the impression there are not many--if any--african americans, african
europeans, or african africans here. But if you do believe in a God, I don't
get why someone of color would ever think a Jewish guy who died 2000 years
ago has all the Answers. I don't really get the psychology of that.

Best thing that could happen to them. Now they die in Christ instead
of some voodoo shit.

Is there a White and Colored Heaven for people that grew up before the
1960s?

Funny reply Ollie. I understand where Somebody is coming from
though. Excuse me, I mean I understand where Gus is coming from. I
have often wondered the same thing. The answer is obvious though.
People adopt the religion into which they are born. Blacks brought
here as slaves probably forgot their native religions within a
generation or two. Even if they resent the white man's religion, they
certainly cannot turn to their own as they don't know what it is.
Most people fall into the religion of their parents. From there it's
"Why bother changing?", and they just go with it the same as they do
with celebrating the 4th of July and Christmas and graduation and
marriage celebrations and other traditions into which they were born.
Most people are followers. I used to complain about that, but I think
maybe it's the best thing. At least it keeps them occupied.

Another compliment. This is too fucking much. All these years I'm
fishing for compliments and I finally get one from a source that is
Unknown. I'll take it though.
