Why does God hate Oklahoma so much? Is it because of homosexuals?

I never told anyone this, but I talk with God on a regular
basis. He's the King of the Universe and is supposed to know
everything. He does know everything but can't keep tabs on everything
all at one time. In one of our conversations I mentioned you. God
said, "Oh yeah, that guy, I want to pay him a visit real soon."

He was talking about you. But because I like you I purposely
threw God off track by telling him you lived in a place called Moore
Oklahoma. I said it with a contrived innocence that would make the
greatest actors of all time proud. God didn't ask where you lived, I
steered him away from you by saying, "Really, you want Gus this early
- he's a pretty young guy - and really, to be honest with you God, I
think he's become a better person since he moved to Oklahoma."

God said, "Oklahoma? Whereabouts in Oklahoma?"

I remembered a small town called Moore from back in my
hitchhiking days and just tossed that out at him. He bit. The very
next day he tore that town apart. All those people died because of
you, Gus. And you are alive because of them. And because of me.
Most of all because of me.

You owe me!

I think it's because OK has not legalized same sex marriage... God has
evolved, and now supports it. And He is no longer OK with Oklahoma.

"Wolf Blitzer put his foot in his mouth for a moment on Tuesday while
interviewing a survivor of the devastating tornado in Moore, Okla.

"We're happy you're here. You guys did a great job," Blitzer said to Rebecca
Vitsmun, who escaped from her house with her 19-month-old son right before
the twister tore through it. "You've gotta thank the Lord, right? Do you
thank the Lord for that split-second decision?"

Vitsmun hesitates for a moment and smiles. "I -- I'm actually an atheist,"
she said, laughing off the awkward moment.

"You are. All right. But you made the right call," Blitzer said.

"We are here, and I don't blame anyone for thanking the Lord," Vitsmun said.

Though she handled the situation graciously, Blitzer would be well-advised
not to assume that every interview subject believes in a god. After all,
America experienced a 13 percent drop in religiosity between 2005 and 2012,
according to a WIN-Gallup poll published last year."

God hates Oklahomans... They are an abomination. And being Oklahoman is a
choice. If Oklahomans give up the lifestyle they have chosen, move across
the state line, and stop being Oklahoman, God will forgive them and love
them again.

I hate the news on tv, rarely watch it except by chance. It's not
news, it's entertainment. In the same way that woman acknowledged
being an atheist I wish more people would acknowledge that they get
entertainment out of disasters and stop with the fake "Oh God what we
do to help them?" routine. I love the way charity foundations start
up as soon as these disasters take place. The worst survivors are the
ones who come out of airplane crashes as the sole survivor and then
proclaim that God has a higher purpose for them. What higher
purpose? To play the lottery every week so that if they hit they can
help make the world a better place?

People who clamor for gay marriage are a joke. All they're going
to get from it is the need for a lawyer when it comes time for them to
split from their partners. Once that happens and they find themselves
going through the bullshit channels of legal divorce just like
straight people they're going to start wondering what the hell they
were thinking before they managed to become equals in the eyes of the
law.

I can see the wheels turning in the heads of the rough and
tumble okie survivors - sue the schools, the city, the state, what? -
somebody's got to pay for this. And of course when they bring up the
dead children they're an immediate shoe in for assistance of some
kind. Shit happens.

I went to get a burrito as big as my head (and a couple DVDs: Hal Hartley
short movie Meanwhile, and Wise Blood based on a Flannery O'Connor story
directed by John Huston (Criterion Edition)) and in that short time there
was one sign that said to "pray for Oklahoma" and there was a sign at the
Kroger about collecting money for the victims. What about the poor bastards
who don't live in Oklahoma. Kinda a "fuck you" "who cares about you?" to
everyone else that experienced acts of God and misery recently... We are
all victims. Why isn't anyone raising money for us?

And as for prayer, kinda selfish for the people in Oklahoma to hog up all of
God's time and wanting everyone else's prayers for them. Hell, it was an
act of God. And now we are supposed to pray to Him? Isn't that enabling
bad behavior?? He didn't even bring flowers and present and say how he is
really sorry and it will never happen again... Seriously, shouldn't we pray
for the people that were diagnosed with cancer yesterday and told they only
have 6 months to live, and are only 40 years old and have kids? And the
tornado already happened. If we want to be proactive about not incurring
anymore acts of God, we should be praying for bad things not to happen in
the future and kissing his ass so horrific things he is about to about to do
or mulling over don't happen. It's too late for the people in Oklahoma.
They were being insolent and forced God to act. But we still have a
chance... Start praying the fuck out of all the prayers you know so God's
knows we are sincere and maybe he have mercy on us.

Well, it would kinda suck to be in the hospital and the partner you had for
life and loved more than anything isn't allowed to stay with you or even
visit you because they are not "immediate family" And that they can't have
the health care you have because you are not "married" And can't share your
pension or Social Security, if you pass away. And basically have no legal
rights that a married couple does. That part kinda sucks.

God, an enabler, pretty funny. Now let me tell you something about
praying. I have determined through years of exhaustive scientific
research that the best time to pray is late Tuesday night/early
Wednesday morning, around 2 am, because less people are praying at
that time than any other time of the week. When too many prayers come
in at once God can't handle it. He can hear them but can't answer
them all. He's like the Customer Service Representative of the
Universe. If you want the customer service representative to answer,
it is wise to call when things aren't so busy. And the people who
pray on Sunday, all at the same time? Fuggedabaddit, no way they're
getting through. I saw the movie Wise Blood some time ago. Not bad.
Interesting. Saw it on the screen. I prefer tv. The freedom of it.
The remote, oh yeah, it's the invention of the 20th Century.

Good thinking. Not your best but good. I always liketo pray when the
rates are lowest. Also you can purchase unlimited prayer minutes as
part of your monthly prayer plan. I use Everlasting myself. Some
people like the Jew plan. Only problem is God will give them all they
want except a decent nose.

There are ways around the hospital visits and it has nothing to
do with gay marriage alone. I had a friend I always had to go through
a hassle to see in the hospital because I would tell them I was a
friend. I learned to say I was her son. I don't care much about the
gay issue or any political issues for that matter as all of them are
merely fodder for votes. I see your point, but I think my point, made
from an open minded view not even related to gay marriage necessarily,
is also valid, which is that sometimes the deeper we get into being
legit in the legit world the more advantage can be taken of us. I'm
having trouble getting SSI now at age 65 because I had more money than
allowed to qualify. It was in the bank a year ago, they went back
that far to see it. I told them I spent it, that's what money's for.
Then they demanded receipts and proof of where the money went, which
is something I never got into in my life, saving receipts, and none of
this would have happened if I had not gone the "legit" route and
opened a fucking bank account. I think it's funny no matter how you
feel on the matter or how much you care to discuss it in a political
way - to envision somewhere down the road two people who clamored for
legalized marriage and got it, and now years later are opting for
divorce and are jumping through all sorts of legal hoops and wondering
why, why on earth did we do this? I think that's funny.

So you talked God down and redirected his wrath... well, fuck Him. And his
Son. That whole family has serious anger issues, especially the Dad. And
the whole family don't give a shit about anyone except those in their clan.
Whom they constantly abuse. You constantly hear fights and wailing, and
gnashing of teeth. Police are constantly being called because He is always
causing problems. Drunk most the time, with power. But the cops are on
His side and they don't do anything. They always side with Authority... I
feel sad for his kids though, most His children look like they have been
abused and neglected. CPS should take them away, but they are afraid of Him
and say since the police have never arrested him they have no evidence to be
able to do anything.

And how many people has He killed now? He's lucky he has all those
bodyguards everywhere dressed up as rabbis and priests to protect Him....
And now, since Joseph had that breakdown and killed dozens of people and
children by mass crucifixion, the whole country has been on edge. I knew
something was wrong with that guy, but his big Man father-in-law is around
most the time protecting him and covering up for him. They are worse than a
mafia crime family... I knew Joseph was going to be a problem. He always
suspected his wife was cheating on him with someone and seemed to on the
verge of going off his nut. I knew he was about to do something bad. It's
always the quiet ones. He'd be walking around muttering most the time. "I
know she is sleeping around. Fucking bitch..." Then he was stockpiling
wood and everyone knew he was planning something. Then 23 women and
children up on crosses, crucified. Left there for days getting pecked at by
birds. But the cops didn't do anything, and it wasn't even in the press.
God once again "took care of " anyone that said anything... And Joseph's
wife, Mary, acts like she's some sort of queen or something and like she is
pure as fresh snow. Claims she was borne without sin, and goes around with
her "holier than thou" attitude. Yeah, she's about as pure as the Ivory
soap girl. No wonder Joseph lost it. Everyone knows she cuckolded him at
the first opportunity for an older guy, with power and connections. Who got
her pregnant and made her have the baby. And made Joseph keep quiet and
pretend it was his... That whole family is white trash

Everlasting, funny. Different prayer packages, funny. Jew plan,

Religion bores me so much I stopped putting it down on a regular
basis years ago. I have even come to believe it may serve a purpose
beyond it's purported faith claims, that of keeping people together,
even under false pretenses, and even at the expense of pitting them
against rival groups of togethered people. I am beginning to think
that everything that happens, even if I don't like it when it happens,
is just another small part of everyone doing the best they can
collectively as one gigantic thriving germ.
