Many consider bodily fluids disgusting-- once they are out side of their own
body. For example, saliva. We swallow our own constantly, no problem. But
who would drink a bowl of soup or glass of juice after spitting in it?
(Aside: I once in read in Marvin Harris "Good to Eat" that to many Chinese a
glass of milk looks like a glass of spit--being that many are lactose
intolerant, a glass of milk is not very appetizing. (I never had another
glass of milk after reading that. Also, it is kinda odd to drink milk after
weaning, especially from a different species.)... And then there is the
whole thing about drinking the excretion from a different species is okay,
but if you offer someone a glass of human female milk most people would be
repulsed. cf:
http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/05/02/us-cheese-breastmilk-idUSTRE7413X020110502)

Then there is the whole thing about it is okay to exchange bodily fluids
with someone you love (and vice versa), but with a stranger that is
disgusting. (Unless they pay enough, but even then still a bit disgusting.)

On BBC Overnight, this morning there was a story about using insects for
food. Many children die of malnutrition in this world we live in, but
insects provide a good source of protein and sustenance. The interviewee
suggested that it would be worthwhile to set up insect farms to raise
insects for food. Approximately 1/3 of children die of malnutrition.

FUCK YOU GUS! What did you do with Somebodys body? Feed it to your
bugs on your insect farm?

We are all the Body... Atman, my brother. The physical body is not
important, only the Spirit-Body is eternal.

When you kill, you are killing the Self. But you must first kill the Self,
to know the Path. But if believe you are on the Path, that is not the Path.
To know the true Path, you must step off the Path, and go blind into the

Sight means a lot when it comes to food. Lots of people throughout
the world eat insects, sometimes even alive. That would disgust me.
But to grind up a bunch of insect meat, or a bunch of worms, and form
them into hamburger-like patties, who knows how good they would be? I
would try it. I'd have trouble eating a live cockroach even for big
bucks, but for enough money I'd squirm my way through it. Out of it's
disgusting shell and into patty form however I would not hesitate to
at least try it. I have a feeling that cockroach meat, or waterbug
meat, might taste a bit like lobster meat. If you look at land
insects, they resemble some of the more repulsive shell fish that
sells for huge bucks on the market.

I know just from the style of posting that Gus IS Somebody. He was
gone so long from the group that an odd form of agoraphobia overtook
him. He is afraid to post his own words, electing to stick
exclusively with reports written by others, which is the direction he
was heading toward before he left the group to vacation with his
imaginary friend Gus. Now he IS Gus. "Somebody" is a walking,
talking, multiple personality disorder of the highest order.

I watch a lot of stuff on tv other people might call garbage. I
might even call it garbage myself. But when it comes to Breaking Bad,
I only know overall it's given me more enjoyment than any weekly tv
show I've ever seen. I've tried to watch other weekly shows such as
Justified (haven't seen Rectify, not even sure I've heard of it), and
while some are tolerable, most have a networky feel to them. I like
the bare bones photography and many other things about Breaking Bad
that set it apart from other cookie cutter shows such as all the Law &
Order spin-offs which have the same look and feel of the original,
which in itself was a total piece of shit.

And if the coin lands on it's side it's Al Davis' ballsack. I
don't think the coin flip is that big a deal in football. In overtime
it takes on a special excitement. Lot's of people think the coin flip
is unfair, that decisions should be based on merit of some kind. I do
not agree. I have thought about this a lot and have concluded that an
honest coin flip is the fairest way to decide certain things. It
would be funny to see a coin flip in ultra slow motion to determine a
life and death situation, like in a courtroom where the judge says, "I
can't make up my mind on this one, life in prison or the death penalty
- let's flip that coin." So they bring it out and flip it in ultra
slo-mo from a variety of angles. The coin takes a half hour from time
of flip to when it comes to total rest on the ground, the cameras in
tight, the crowd hushed, then bursting into a medley of happy applause
and anguished boos.

True, but some are of championship caliber while others are mere
amateurs. You are champion caliber. That doesn't mean you have what
it takes to be champ though. You are in the running but will never
win because you and none of your personalities deserve the title.

I never lose, I'm the guy flipping the coin. I don't care if it
comes up heads or tails or what the flip decides. I'm a pro coin

shut up and let me flip this coin so I can get paid for my duties and

Have you flipped your lid? No way am I gonna pay to flip a coin. I
demand a coin flip to determine whether I flip or not. After I flip
the coin I don't care how the outcome affects other people. I'm a
pro. I flip for a living, can't you understand that? I flip the
coins that make the whole world spin. Why can't people understand
that? Why? Why? Why?

Justified is okay, I watched 4-5 episodes months ago but then just kinda
didn't watch any more.. It sometimes feel a bit networky and I could do
without that. The only network shows I watch are: Community, The Office,
and the Simpsons.

Maron has a show out now. I believe on IFC. I've seen a couple eps and
enjoyed them, especially the second one. I think that is the one where the
possum is under the house. There is one scene with Leary (unfortunately
they stick his ugly face in the show, he is an exec producer). Maron is
talking to him and mentions how Leary saying he can get the dead possum out
of the crawlspace gives him the chance to play "a fake fireman". That was
funny. Too bad Maron didn't get in a fight with him and kick Leary in the
balls. Maybe in another episode. Leary wasn't in the first ep, hopefully
the 2nd ep is the only one he is in. Unless there is an ep where Maron gets
to punch im in the balls and later we see Leary' house on fire and learn he
has died in his bed because he was smoking and fell asleep and it started a
fire.

Rectify is very "slow" --like the Fly episode of BB-- but an interesting
show. Lots of moral ambiguity and understatement, and some good
photography. Though it's not the SW, but somewhere in GA or such. It's
been renewed for a 2nd season.

Not everybody follows your exact path in life, you know. You jump
into discussion some of these shows as if anyone who has not seen them
has been living in a cave. I don't know who you're talking about. If
it's Dennis Leary, yeah, he gets on my nerves. Smart move coming out
with the fireman show shortly after the WTC thing though. A very
professional and thorough demonstration of pandering at its highest
level. Kudos to the creep for that.
